Sona is a little more intense and packed, but Aria is pretty phat too (I just went up for Danyy Howells about a month ago). Check out their websites to see who's spinning the week you go up and you should have a great time at either place.As for preparty---- Check out Club Supersex or Chez Paree'. A vip booth will cost your group about $40-50 cdn and you can skip the cover charge... Most amazing girls I have ever seen are in these clubs.... igr00ve Posted December 27 Report Share Posted December 27 i've been up in montreal a number of times and will also be up there for new year's.i have two words: GRAND PRIX...that is THE place to go for a lil pregaming. beautiful girls, and they'll finish the job it's about 10 minutes outside of montreal, but ask any cab driver or hotel guy, they'll show you the way. i've also heard Wanda's is a good spot as well. But certainly chez paree is a good choice if you looking for a classy joint...no contact tho.as for the club scene...go with ARIA, unless you're a drinker. they have no liquor license. purely a pill poppin spot. but the big new year's party is Celebration held at the molson centre. from 9pm to 12 noon and about 15,000 headz. donvito Posted January 15 Report Share Posted January 15 I've been to Montreal a bunch of times, and each time i've been there the weekend has been defined by "excess" in every sense of the word.Sona is amazing for afterhours. Saturday/Sunday mornings are intense. If u need substances other than alcohol, hang out by the phonebooths on the first floor. You can pre-game at any number of bars or clubs along St Catherine's street. Check out Electric Avenue. Super Sexx is the best strip club in montreal with playboy type strippers.Have a great time.
