cesarleo
Ok.....I know there are a lot of J.V. fans and to be honest I never heard him live. Iv'e been in the scene for yrs. but am only familiar with the KTU "Sanctuary Sets" he used to drop back in 98-99 when I used to always tape the Boris mixes when he was at Roxy.....(sigh). I really hope he can bring it back but was curious what his style consists of mostly.....trance, progressive, tribally, tech-beats etc.... He sounded kinda trancey from the older mixes I have but all DJ's change in one way or another so I was wondering what to expect....of course any info appreciated:)

realz
Vicious could compare to George Acosta.a hard trance pioneer
msoprano
he just keeps you guessing,,,,after an insane buildup you have no idea what song could be coming in...could be tribal, a little break or some ill tech sound.....unpredictability is what hes alll about..... karch
He also plays for what the crowd wants. Wether he's at Hunka Bunka in Jersey, to Zachary's in Long Island, to Roxy in NYC, his music always gets the crowd into it.

JonathanNYC
well.. here is the deal.. Johnny vicious is heads down the best dj in NYC right now.! Johnny mixes great sets with awesome vocals.. and some tight hard beats. he will throw in a few oldies during the night.. BUt the Oldies are always awesome to hear.Johnny also knows when to give u a rest.. he will play like 3 hard tracks then Give u 2 vocals to just chill and enjoy the moment.Definitely recommend u check him at ROxy's fri night..peacejon
danfury
Vicious is definitely a good DJ, but not the best in NYC......(JP, Tenaglia) .........Opening night at platinum in Jerzy, and opening night at ROxy were unbelievable.........high energy the whole night.
