Bt Robbed Over Christmas Break!

BT Is by far one of my all time favorite producers

and most down to Earth-friendliest musicians

in the scene that I've ever met. I´ve seen the man PERFORM

on many ocassions and spin once in the Pinky. (Though self admitingly not a great DJ by any means)

IT IS A SHAME THAT WE HAVE BEEN ROBBED OF HIS FOURTH ALBUM AND HIS ART!

I can´t remember how many times I´ve heard his tracks droped by everyone from Deep Dish to S&D to Hybrid to..

YOU NAME IT!

And though he´s ventured into infamy with certain boy band collaborations..

and become a bit of a enigma with his studies

into Brain Waves and Alpha states affecting music

(He´s developing a Brain machine to MAKE MUSIC IN REAL TIME JUST BY THINKING OF IT!)

he´s still one of dance floor/ Electronica´s greatest founders and

a brilliant artist.

THIS IS INDEED A GREAT LOSS FOR ALL OF US!

:( :( :( :( :(

Producer / DJ BT (Brian Transeau) was robbed over the Christmas break. The thief made off with his entire studio equipment and master tapes to his next album.

Over $100,000 worth of equipment was taken as well as the finished master for 9 tracks from the upcoming BT album. He had recorded with already recorded tracks with Peter Gabriel, Jan Johnston and Way Out West.

BT's webmaster reports "Brian's computers, synths, hard drives, etc. were stolen. Everything is gone". A request has gone out for more information. "I ask everyone who reads this, if they see or hear ANYTHING regarding this that contains any sort of clues or leads to please send an email to BTRobbery@bt-network.org. All submitted information will be completely confidential if requested".

A reward is being offered for the return of the property. "BT has said if the things are returned there will be a huge reward and no questions asked. He just wants his music back".

BT was in London when the robbery occurred. His next American gig is a DJ set on New Years Eve at Spundae with Paul Oakenfold and Deep Dish.

There was a track he was producing with Peter Gabriel

that was supose to be Phenomenal..

(More like his " REAL WORLD" Indian music stuff alla

"Last temptation of Christ" soundtrack.)

Also there was lots

of Breakbeat and Indian Tabla stuff

that I was REAAALLY looking forward to..

Such a horrible thing to

happen to such a nice guy.
