gravity
You should be going through a State-run incarceration program instead.

joeg
I got a radar detector after my first ticket, and haven't been pulled over since.... and for whatever reason, my ticket never hit my insurance...
deeprock
When I lived in Miami, they used to allow us to take safe driving classes to reduce license points. Is that not an option here in NY?

Yeah, it's usually works, but be careful if you are on portions on Interstate 95 (Mostly the South). They have these horizontal lines on the highway and they sometimes use spotter helicopter to measure your speed by the amount of time it took you to travel from one line to another (usually you're talking about a distance of one or two miles. Radar/Laser can't help you there. Spotter helicopter is just another tool they have in their arsenal. It happened to me.
joeg
Yeah, I've seen those... I almost died laughing... i'm like "wait.... they've got a chopper peepin my shit just to make sure people aren't speeding... thats got to be a joke".......I'll be more careful with that i guess... why can't they just make like an express lane on every highway without a speed Limit..... There must be a large group of people who want to travel at >100mph... just give us a lane separated from the traffic... going fast in a straight line isn't dangerous, its when people start weaving through traffic that things get tricky.... It happened to me. . . yeah, the Orlando cops used to pull that shit all the time, they'd have the chopper and a spotter on one of the overpasses. . 20 bike cops down the highway, they'd just point and shoot and all of a sudden 10 people would be pulled over 3 exits up . . not fun dude. .
