wakeup Posted January 24 Report Share Posted January 24 i prefer the technics dj1200 over the sonys. better bass response and i think hold on to ur ear. though the sonys are better for cupping. i payed 140 for my technics but i think they came down in price. carusomaas11 Posted January 27 Report Share Posted January 27 Definitely the Sony MDRV700's.....I've learned one thing with headphones...make sure you are using headphones that can handle your equipment. I tried buying cheaper headphones when I first started out (Numark D-200's..about $60)....big mistake because I blew them within a month.
