Gatecrasher’s move (reported in Music Week) should prove interesting since the club’s best known icon- the glow stick waving, face painted Crasherkid, failed to catch on in London except amongst some elements of the psi-trance/ hard house scenes.According to Paul Van Dyk, the club’s best known former resident DJ, Gatecrasher’s clientele appears to have changed in recent times, anyway .“I’m really puzzled as to what happened to the Gatecrasher kids, do they exist anymore?†he asks in the latest issue of Mix Mag. “I couldn’t see any in April the last time I was there. teklord310 Posted January 29 Report Share Posted January 29 Gatecrasher parties at LL were awesome. They did a pretty decent job, most of the time. The night of Judge Jules was kind of weak though.
