1- Dissagree strongly, 2- Disagree, 3-Neither agree nor disagree, 4- Agree, 5- Strongly Agree

a)I live for the moment - 4

b)Developments in the media have influenced club culture - 4

c)All clubs are the same - 1 they couldn't be more different

d)Superclubs (Cream, Ministry of Sound, Gatecrasher, Twilo, Home) have lost touch with reality - 2

e)The music within club culture has the smae impact on me as it always has - 1... every year the music has a bigger impact it seems

f)Accurate information on club culture is readily available - 2

g)I do not take life seriously - 1 When you've got a job, loans and that kind of stuff, you have to take it seriously. Doesn't mean you can't have fun though

h)Club culture will last another 13 years - 4 I hope so at least.. it's been around for a while if you think about it... it's just always evolving

i)Club culture is experienced equally by men and women - 3 (experienced how?)

j)Club culture is heterosexual - 1 - "club culture" is possibly one of the environments that is most acceptable of homosexual lifestyles (I hope that came out right)

k)A persons ethnic origin will determine a positive experience of club culture - 3 (not sure what this question is getting at.... different ethnicities do seem to gravitate towards certain clubs though)

l)Club culture is not politically orientated - 2

m)A person from the working class may not enjoy their experience of club culture in the same way as someone from the middle class - 1 .. when you're on the dance floor, it doesn't matter how much $$$$ you have! Rhythm... now that matters!

n)An individuals religion will distance them from club culture - 4 ... depending on the religion, some are very unaccepting of what a "club culture" lifestyle encompasses

o)Club culture is distanced from reality - 3... it's a break from reality. Most clubs are like something out of a movie, or a comic book!

p)Ecstasy enbles an escape from reality - 1... it depends on the user, in my opinion, it enhances reality.... not that I'd really know or anything

q)There is on theory to explain all social life - 3 (What?)

r)The media present a distorted image of club culture - 10 (I couldn't agree with this more... the media just shows all that's bad out there in clubland)

s)Club culture can be split into many different musical genres, but no one is dominant - 2... I think the trance movement was VERY dominant the last couple of years... now it's fading

t)There are no social constraints in club culture - 2

u)Variety will be an important factor in the continuation of club culture - 4

v)Club culture cannot keep reinventing itself - 1.. that's all it ever does.

PS - online polls are a very inaccurate way to gather data for reporting.... my advice would be to hang out in or outside a club and get a random sampling of people there... ask them the same questions... you'll have a less biased and more captivated audience. Just what I picked up in school....

Thank you so much for your time !
