We became friends, but I never told him I liked him, and then I moved away to another city a few years later after 8th grade and we lost touch.Then, last New Years Eve (2000), over 15 years after we first met, we ran into each other at the same NYE party in Brooklyn... turns out he is in the Marines and had just gotten stationed in Brooklyn for 3 years!We've been together ever since that night...
