But, he can do that because he has a rock-solid core of fans that will keep coming back for more, because they know that when he is a happy dj and likes his crowd he will please like no other.As to why the two have beef- I have no idea. It sucks that he controls the crowd instead of feeling the crowd. Dont get me wrong, JV may have had his time and some great anthems but, it seems to me that its not what it used to be!I have just recently been to EXIT2 to see how he was spinning and the PHUCKING guy stopped the music for 5-10mins just to get the crowd to the bar. NOW, we all know that EXIT makes no money at all right (hint of sarcasm) and yeah the DJ needs to stop the music to get people to buy drinks?? cmon now, the place charges a FORTUNE already. I have to read up on my club culture again). They were basically at each other's throats and really hated each other. If I remember correctly, when JV was at the Tunnel, he used to have security escort DT out of the club by force because he "didn't want him to copy his style". Say what you will, but it ain't just some damn cheesy online rumor.This is something that ran way back...I can't really say if they're both holding that same grudge still. And like I said, if Junior doesn't like the crowd he's just not gonna do a great job. It's a total a mix between the regular Exitheads and Junior's crowd. I was there on NYE (my only time hearing him there) and I overheard some guy saying "This is a pretty good party except for all the gay guys." !!! It got better as the night progressed, eventually it was almost all the old Junior crowd. But... it's just not a good venue for him, unfortunately. But when he is on its the best freaking music, nite, event you will ever hear and its well worth the time.Plus you guys who have not heard Junior spin 1st hand after 8 am you guys cannot say anything about his style and music. I have walked out of twilo and now Exit at 3 pm when there is no room in the club to move.P.S. I am not gay but do appreciate where there's talent.Enjoy. As far as Junior goes, he really doesn't have any incentive to stop being a moody bitch. As long as people keep paying their 30 bucks to see him every week, he doesn't have much of a reason to stop playing just a DJ tool for minute long stretches every hour or so. But you'll never see a more enthusiastic crowd or DJ when it gets near the witching hour, and at 5 in the afternoon all that's left is 150 dancers going wild to take up that entire huge club.
