meng
That's very impressive alright. We have a tendency of forgetting but this brings us right back to the fact of what happened. Not bad for a temporary memorial. I can't wait to see what the permanent memorial will be like.
pod
I'm kinda hoping the permanent memorial will be a new WTC.
meng
I don't know about that, Dan. Remember that's like a cemetary. The families of those who died there have nothing else but that place. So I think that it may turn out to be a half and half sort of thing....half memorial and half business center........I think that would make sense. Nolimit
great response from everyone here in ny. the majority of the people want it to be a permanent thing. we'll see what happens.
sgtfury
ALL PROPS TO NOLIMIT FOR POSTING THIS....I get really emotional about the whole thing..being a NYer..I worked in the WTC in 1991......i was in NY for a gig on sept.21 and it was so sad...even though i love the towers of light, i truly believe that the WTC should be rebuilt bigger and better to eternally prove that we will always come back....
