the layout of the club is vastly different at spirit, totally different club in innumerable aspects

i hate hypocritical statements such as this one... Some people like to think they come off all "high and mighty" because they dont do "drugs," they only smoke weed. And thats OK for some reason, but other things are not... A lot of people on certain other boards are just like this, all "i hate drugs" and "drugs ruined the scene!" this and that bullshit, but need to be obliterated on weed to go out and have a good time. i dont know, i just dont understand where some people get off saying shit like that, and doing what they do...

ok bro, was going to vinyl/arc for 4 years, that era is over. been to the roxy parties, and the spirit parties, etc. etc. Also have seen PVD a bunch of times - and had a a great time. Dont tell ME who a DJs-DJ is, ok, pal? and if it is up to "you the club goer to make the party and bring the vibe", "you" should have a great time out no matter who you see, or at what venue, or with what crowd, correct? No matter how hard you want to deny it, the crowd/venue DO matter, unless you are one of the few elite who are actually running the party, in which case it is in your best interest to say great things NO MATTER WHAT. And to say there are no "roid raging guidos at any danny partys", is assinine. Last few parties I've been to, 60% of the club looked like Factory in there. And if you cherish "your" space, and "your" party, so much, why are you trying to get other people who you dont know to agree with you, give in, and come to see Danny?

100% agreed. there is no question if you want to hear dt's style of music, you should attend spirit that night. personally, really like dt musically, but done with that venue and that crowd, hopefully the 'undesireables' will attend spirit that evening

as far as i know, thats not true... when dt spins there, there are a mix of ex-vinyl staff and spirit's own staff - they are the ones i have a problem with... but i digress... carry on

as much as i would like to hear dt, i refuse to spend any money to enter spirit, i have seen how the staff there operates and it is not pretty have fun all who go, and be safe; i'll save my $$$ for smaller events where i'm not knocked into by arrogant steroid-raging fist-pumping guidos, and those not at spirit

sasha is resident? IF so, $40 is too much, even $30 advance. but i guess the crowd that you guys are marketing to have no problems paying this... have fun

our times on the dancefloor were filled with smiling, eyes-closed, hands-in-the-air moments... felt like old times again for a few in there the drawback to the night, once again (dare i mention it here LoL) were the Spirit bounce staff. Saw many of the old Vinyl bounce staff in the house, all were friendly and respectable, as always. However, the some of the Spirit bounce staff seem to be no more than thugs - both times we have been there for danny we have been treated rudely, witnessed patrons being BEAT DOWN, and last time we saw bouncers being BOUGHT OFF. Dont know what that is about, but bouncers taking money from patrons is sketchy, to say the least. Please replace Spirit bouncers with old Vinyl staff! Good luck with the next spirit event everyone, if and when it ever happens!
