My First time at Luna, definitely a nice spot! Drink prices are steep, but the place and people are cool! Very casual, laid back, come as you are atmosphere, which everyone loves. A fun crowd of true music lovers only came out to show support. It was great to see lots of familiar faces and great to meet some new ones. All DJ's played great sets. Oscar Fonseca with a perfect warm-up set that had people talking, and dancing! And give it up for the Peruvian duo, they had fun and everyone was diggin' their vibe! It was great to see & hang with them again. Some sweet funky Tech/Lounge House all night long, then Cianci & Avila finished off the night right with some exciting Prog House! Im glad I was able to finally catch these guys on the decks. Good stuff guys! I enjoyed every minute of it. Be on the lookout for the Proton Radio recording of the night soon! Geoff will be updating us when its ready. Thanks Oscar, Christian, Israel, Cianci, Avila, Marco, Carla, Isabella, Geoff, and all the wonderful Miami clubbers/supporters for a wonderful night! ***SURF UPDATE*** Check out some pics of todays tasty waves! Some kick-back surf from Tropical Storm Henri. Pretty nice, huh! http://www.surfingcocoabeach.com/surfreport/ Hurricane Isabel is heading our way. A Cat 5 storm pushing up 160mph winds is a scary thing. Its still a week away, but we must watch this folks. The forecast is to turn Northward at some point, but noone really knows whats going to happen so be prepared and keep an eye on it. For us surfers, the waves are going to be insane! The waves last weekend from Hurricane Fabian were 6-8ft. This storm is going to come much closer so the size is going to be HUGE. Get ready people! If it gets too big, I just might sit this one out and have a watch from shore. Pod, want to get some epic photos?? See ya in the water, or on the shore!

Why is it that every damn thread about music (in every board across Miami) always turns into a TRANCE vs. HOUSE trash talk?? Get over it people, cant you argue about something else. Im getting bored. Well, I fgure I will get to Nerve at 11:00, stay til' 1:00 (just to see Oscar), and jet home. Maybe I can even stay at Nicks place because hes going with me, hint, hint!!

I here ya brotha! I will definitely need my NRG for this swell, its going to be big, big, big. 8ft. Hurricane surf is no joke. Im going to take some pics just to show everyone!! Not too sure how good its going to be locally because of the Bahama Island chain blocking everything, but good luck to ya! If I go out at all this weekend it will be Nerve on Friday for about 2 hours, then off to my bed (if I can even sleep from all this excitement)!!

Well, this is part of living in Florida so get used to it, but fortunately for us, this massive Hurricane is turning North already and wont bother us. We will only see the large surf from it. September is the worst month for Hurricanes coming our way so get ready, just in case. Truthfully, we are long overdue for another Hurricane strike. We shall see what happens. Just be prepared, you know! See ya in the water!

Buoy data...Yeah, anything over 9 seconds means there is SWELL in the water, which is good!! 14 seconds is amazing!! By the weekend it should be 17 seconds, WOW!! Of course, you must consider the wave height with that figure, which is now 4 ft., but should be 8-10ft. through the weekend. That means BIG waves my friend!!

I have never actually seen Demi (wasnt my description), but I know Oscar Fonseca is going to rock the place for sure! I'll be surfing all weekend (which means I will need to get to sleep early), but I will probably head over to Nerve early and chill for a few hours to support my boys and say Happy B-Day to Carlos! Have fun @ Life though!

Cant go wrong with either spot, all DJ's are going to rock! Or, grab a board, get to sleep early, get up at 4:00AM, and go surfing with me!!!

**SURF UPDATE** Anyone who's interested... Hurricane Fabian has already started to send huge swells to the East Coast of Florida. The buoys are rocking with a 14 second long period swell. Today is looking nice with Waist-Shoulder high glassy waves, but the forecast for Friday and into the weekend is 6-9ft. Hurricane surf with super-clean conditions! This is what I have been waiting all year for people. If anyone wants to join me and my crew, feel free. I'll be heading up to Fort Pierce on Friday morning and will be surfing all weekend long! Get ready for some epic Florida Hurricane surf!! ;D
