Found parking last night (next block over) right at 12:00. No quarter spent, fairly easy parallel park. My buddy got the very first parking spot at Nerve, no quarter dropped. Witnessed a pretty nice fight on the streets. Some black eyes and girls screaming and falling to the floor. Complete craziness. The club became a ghost town after that shit. Anyone catch it?? I know alot of you did because we were talking about it all night. That was the highlight of a very disappointing evening at Nerve. Absolutely no people or energy. Quivver was playing great tunes but just wasnt putting them in the right order. DJ competition finalists, I saw a few of you there last night dancing around, hee, hee (LOL) please dont try to imitate this set, please. See everyone tonight I hope!!

Just to let everyone know, I gave a lot of the good/decent mixes a complete listen from beginning to end. Some I even listened to twice. I really gave everyone a chance and I was very fair! I encourage all DJ's to keep practicing. There is a lot of potential from many of you out there. I Hope to see some of the same names next year! And Im sure Nick will be posting a list of honorable mentions at the end of the competition.

Hello everyone, this is Rob from CoolJunkie. We had to pick the best 9 mixes out of 150. Let me tell ya, it wasnt that easy. There were some very good mixes, there were some very bad mixes, and there were a bunch of decent mixes. Some mixes stood out and some didnt, even though they werent bad. We were looking at overall style, mixing skills, tunes, and track selection. I did hear some really great tunes out there! In the end, some were just better than others and we went with those. We shall see what happens when they go live at Virgin (this Saturday) and Lime Bar (next week), the true test. Andrew, your mix was definitely good (in the top 20 actually), you should be proud of yourself. Just keep doing what your doing! Theres always next year. Hope to see everyone at the heats!!

Wednesdays are always tough, but if you are spinning Craig, you know I will definitely check it out!! Especially if the party starts & ends early! Thats better for me.
