The main objectives of the 12-day mission are to restock the station and conduct a series of spacewalks that include testing techniques for repairing the shuttle in orbit, in case another mishap damages a future ship. The spacewalkers, Noguchi and Robinson, also are slated to perform repairs and maintenance tasks on the station. Shuttle Basics The Space Shuttle consists of three major components: the Orbiter which houses the crew; a large External Tank that holds fuel for the main engines; and two Solid Rocket Boosters which provide most of the Shuttle's lift during the first two minutes of flight. All of the components are reused except for the external fuel tank, which burns up in the atmosphere after each launch. Anyone going out there for this? Here's directions and best place to watch the liftoff, i will be there in Titusville off US1 and 50...which is only 10-12 miles west of the base.

i guarantee u downshifting from 5th to 2nd or from 3rd-4th to first(not recommended) but can be done if rpms are high will stop u faster than breaks...u cant always rely on ur brakes and tires to stop you think about what you are saying, how can a car (on tires) possible be slowed down any faster then a brake that virtually slows the tires to the point they are practically sliding over the pavement? its physically impossible. downshifting that severly is only going to lock the drive wheels to a slow rotation, the same as braking without anti-lock brakes, which is NOT going to slow you down as much. its in your mind. you might as well yank the parking brake if thats how you feel. my brakes have never gone out, but ive stalled a car before. thus, a manual is is more dangerous in the real world. stalling a car in traffic is not dangerous as u say it is, ok u stall than u turn it back on again...takes u less than 10 seconds

lol those 1000 hp supras last for only a few hours under normal driving... Put them on a race track and they won't last one lap before the trans and rear and tires and engines fall apart.. Nascar's don't even produce 800hp.. S7 and Enzo are not drag racing cars, they are race cars for the street.. Yes i know this, i know what those cars are i wasnt born yesterday...you can put 1000hp on a street car, there are several cars out there w/ that amount of power offcourse it would just be insane to be driving around on something that powerfull, im sure they arent daily driver cars just like these super cars aren't for the average millionaire. The point I was trying to get across wasnt about them being super cars or not it was the fact that all these high compression V8 blocks and twin turbo matter of fact should be seeing alot higher numbers than just 500-700hp. People do that on smaller displacement, well tuned, on pump gas, so i don't see why the higher displacements can't. I was referring to drag racing in my previous because we all know that when it comes to zig zag aka autocross, f1 racing, type of thing the enzos, porsches, s7s, vipers, will take any of these smaller displacements vehicles. I can go into JGTC racing but that's a whole different ballpark.

i prefer stick. ive had 4 autos and 2 sticks cars...my current car is auto but my next one will deff be stick...i like autos if its luxury...tiptronic is cool too, but stick is always fun. Yeah tiptronic is fun, but does not compare............my first husband bought a 98 Ferrari now those cars are FUN as hell to drive, but if you really dont know how to drive stick you well never drive this..........cause the shifts are Syncronized!!!AWESOME, I used to love it!!!! do you know which model? could be the 355...if so, its either Berlinetta or Spyder...one is a couple the other a convertible. An aquaintance of mine has a 98 355 spyder...it was stick...rear engine v8 got hot as fuck, ur back would be all sweaty...but it was a blast to drive. No it was the 355 the one with the hard top, it was Canary Yellow!!!Yeah it would get hot, but fuck it it was damn worth it!!! You have to see it on the big screen. I just went last night and I almost waited to see it on DVD but I'm glad I saw it on the big screen. It had me at the edge of my seat the whole time..I'm going to defiently buy this when it comes out. And Level was right it was probably the best film I saw this year. Right up there with Star Wars and in some aspect even better imo... last movie i saw was bewitched w/ will ferrel but its a lil diff type of movie than this one im sure i'll prob try to go see it soon once i get a hot date or something lol
