  1. i know what ur saying ur prob a local or have lived in miami like most of us(i live in broward tho). if you really think it's that bad try going clubbing year around in downtown orlando or ybor city in tampa lol - everywhere u go its like that season or not, not saying its a bad place to go clubbing but the way "they" try to get people inside gets on people's nerves. probably works for the drunks and the ones that say "did u say gurls! wow! back home in bumfuckville we dont see girls like this!" course im exaggerating a bit too
  2. haha thx - i just cooked it again w/ the tuna this time - i just hope i dont get tired of it lol
  3. The weather was so nice last night - didnt go to space but in Las olas it was chilly but not chilly were ur dying cold lol Great winter south florida weather
  4. Im not a diehard Roger fan, i do however go see him when he's at space - it's always a good time, n lots of peeps aka hot chicks come out so it makes the party deff worth it. I was there as well for long hours, i heard last minute that the guy was gonna spin, so he didnt spin, the main event was for og's marathon set n desyn in the patio - that's really why i had gonne to space for. To me roger was just an extra bonus which i thought it really wasnt necessary w/ OG in the main room till late morning n cedric, desyn, gba, and ivano in the terrace. Personally it didnt break my heart besides how many times have we heard the man spin?
  5. Bought some frozen tilapia from walmart a few days ago. Package w/ 10 slices for around 7 bucks if i recall, thought it was a good deal. Specs if u wanna know i believe its 20 grams of protein, 0 carbs, 0 trans fat per slice. What I call easy cooking skillet pan large size on medium heat 1 tablespoon of olive or canola oil. add some green peppers medium slices, sliced onions, sliced thin zuchinis, sliced thin squash. wait a few minutes till it gets sauteed. Lower heat to low heat. add 1 tilapia(fish choice fillet) - depending on servings typical for one person 1 fillet will do just fine. Cook for 10-15 mins covered. note - i like the green peppers to get very mushy, gives a real nice flavor n taste to them. options - last night i added 1 can of tuna and it came out real good too. Delicious & Easy cooking that you'll be wanting more n more.
  6. I got back on my eating healthy routine again...but not the way where it gets expensive to eat healthy that you're like man this is too much! lol So now that i stopped eating fast food and actually have to cook, I started obtaining new ideas and recipes to cook at home. I wouldn't consider myself a good cook. I made this thread for people that would like to share ideas & recipes of their own. I mostly cook fish(tilapia, salmon, tuna), chicken, and pasta. My recipes are real basic so its not even worth putting it on here lol. Would like to hear what other people do during their daily routine.
  7. I grew up with people from India and Iranians aka Persians so ive been eating their food for a while, when i was living in Orlando there were alot of Iranian places but I also had Iranian coworkers and they cook some of the best food using Indian rice which i believe is probably the best tasting rice out there. I also lived w/ an Indian roommate a few years back, and he used to cook alot of curry rice and everything else. I don't mind curry most of my friends that only eat fast food lol dont like curry cuz they are too scared to try new things. I wanted to try that place on 163rd as well, i used to live in nmb years ago, i should've gonne by there. Im looking for Iranian restaurants, doesnt have to be Kabob type of places, in Orlando they have 3 and they are all buffet type of places, excellent food, service, and the price is really good too. anyone know of any?
  8. Iranian(Iran) also referred to Persian food, dont call them arabs especially at their restaurant lol. I haven't found any places down here, in Orlando there's 2 that I know of and it's great. I grew up w/ lots of Persians up north, so ive had just about everything that they eat. Vietmenese - Again haven't found any Viet places in south florida, mainly what they are known for is Pho - which is a traditional soup served hot(spicy or non) in a large bowl w/ different types of ethinic veggies n spices w/ lots of solentro, choices of different meats as in beef, pork, n chicken, most traditional would be raw or steamed beef. Great soup for hangovers or Sundays when you're not in the mood to have a large meal. Most places you will also find great shrimp/veggie rolls served w/ peanut sauce. Thai is good too, but Thai restaurants seem to be more in the higher priced of foods, so i dont go to them that often. I want to try Indian, best rice in my opinion! I had an indian roommate a few years back and he was all about curry, a lot of people mistake indian w/ curry just because they tend to put curry in their foods, you can have it w/out as well. Persians use their rice and so does alot of asian places because the rice is grown in the mountain lands which gives a different taste and aroma to it. Carribean, central america, south america have very similar foods as well. They are good but for me they can be a bit heavy rice n beans, lots of meat. I dont know much about most of them but Brazilian food tends to be heavy. Still good though.
  9. lol, minimal is a genre it's good stuff in my book - you dont quite hear it at space or most major large venues, only if a feature dj plays it.
