Thanks Sweetie! I know One51 is good, but it is too small and I have this feeling that it will be more aggravation than it is worth to get in with 15 people.. Things are pretty good - how about you? I have been in hiding for the past couple of months - taking a break from everything and especially EVERYONE.... I will start creeping back out towards the Spring....

...ooops sorry - it would be a Saturday night. A club or a lounge would be fine. With the amount of people that are going I am assuming that it would have to be some place that is not too small. I have not been out in the city in a while so I have no idea what is good anymore...

Where would be a good place to take someone in the city for their birthday? There are going to be about 15 people and I am not looking to go to the Cracktory or any place remotely similar. I am looking for something nice, but pretty low key - not too crazy and also some place that is not going to be a bitch to get into with that many people. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you really think anything anyone says on this board is for real? I could give a fuck less if you were living on the streets begging for quarters to get into the place. I use this board as a form of entertainment when I am slow at work - it has been worthless lately so I thought I would just throw some words around....

I do not think that any Over sized club in NYC is good anymore. Everything is way too commercialized and the people just keep getting tackier and tackier...... TOTAL FUGAZE! I would definitely rather spend my time at a nice restaurant or lounge. I would rather not waste my time on filthy establishments that make me feel like I need to be bathed in bleach when I leave... Like SpyGirl said.......................Been there, done that...........way too many times.

You have GOT TO BE JOKING ME! Something beautiful about Factory...... :puke: The only thing beautiful about that place is the Exit Door... Don't get me wrong that place WAS great - 4 YEARS AGO! It has grown into one of the biggest, flashiest CRACK HOUSES in the city....

Are you joking me? For all of you it is only $30 - I have paid more than that for myself alone at certain places. Another thing, your username has the letters BMW in it - if you have one and are complaining about the $3 than you are one cheap bastard..................and if you don't have one and want one.................shit, you are going to wait a long time because they cost a hell of a lot more than $30 and that seems to be too steep for you at the moment...

Actually, the cheesy music was not something that bothered me - it was actually kind of fun. It is definitely not something that would have kept me from going back. I liked that place a lot - it was the best kept little secret. I guess that is going to change now....

I have actually been hitting up that place since before the holidays - it is a good time. Nice, chill atmosphere with some good Martinis..................also helps that it is so close. The music is not the greatest, but it is fun if you are into that cheesy, fun, music.

Amazingly enough I do not think I had one this year. I would have to agree with Sin about being embarrased for other people - they was some serious UGLINESS up in that place this summer....
