Actually, i might go check out fluid, chris fortier is there tonight (force records, digweed has one of their tracks on his GU14). Fluid is a philly gem, real small, but great talent usually. not the usual progressive cheeze like everywhere else.

wow, jp is 1 hextillion times better then me...thats pretty good, i should go check him out....i dont believe in "being better" then anyone though... Im in it for the music. So in that respect maybe he is 1 octillion (thats 1 followed by 27 0's for the tempkid) better than me. Sorry, but when someone puts tapes on and goes and hooks up with, uh, whatever his thing is right now, to me that leads me to believe he's in it for something else.

This list is dead on accurate in my opinion. DT, sasha, diggers, pvd, cox, all about where they should be. Maybe people here in the city will wake up and smell the global coffee, that JP is really unknown, and PVD is good, but trance is dead and only the top listed dj's are truly breaking ground into the newer darker techy/house/trancy sound which is where everything is going. Saeed and Palash I feel should be on there because producers like them are championing this new sound, and are amazing dj's as well.

I heard it live at vinyl, and its literally a night at vinyl... Closest thing to a night at a club yet in the GU series. Song selection is amazing too.

The DJ "room" upstairs will most likely be closed and only the hallway will be accessable to customers. When DT was there only a select few were allowed in there and most likely it will be like that with JP (god knows why, i wont go there)

Great cd, one of my favs, but I lost some respect for s and d when i found out all their cd's are computer mixed, including sasha's san fran, and diggers' hong kong, which are two of my favs... great cd's but to me its all about doing it live, and feeling them in the mix... As far as I know, dt is the only one doing the GU's live at this point. sucks...

Both Danny Tenaglia CD's were recorded on a live dj setup, not during a club night, but live. The new london was recorded right at vinyl when the club was closed. I mean the difference between a DJ actually mixing the cd and using a computer program to do it. No disrespect to Diggers and sasha who are terrific mixers, I just like the feel of a live cd more, expecially as a DJ.
