eModels is a widely known as a scam... no offense... youre better off getting your own pics done, printing out your own comps and finding work and real representation yourself... a little more effort, but better than blind faith... .g.

from what i heard b4 the club opened... platinum was supposed to be something 'different'... meaning that it wasnt going to be thrown into the 'jersey club' category... but as far as i've seen... its the same shit, different space... i also heard bout tryin to bring in the better names, like dT... id like to see that happen... (sorry, but jv and tsettos dont even come close...)

i had a blast at bunka that nite... although max graham was really good... trendroid kicked ass... id like to see them again...!!! as for the nj scene... most nj headz dont know shit about music...i think that says enough... props to bon and bunka for bringing in some awesome music to jersey... cant wait to check out dave ralph... <3 .g.

1- Its not nice to smoke cigarettes in other peoples' cars. 2- When driving, make sure to drive on the street, and not through, let's say, tight alley ways. 3- Dont hit other cars, especially in front of the car owners. 4- Park as quickly as possible, especially when there is a line of traffic waiting behind you. *hehe

better idea... lets just get rid of the whole NJ message forum... maybe that will make everybody happy... ~~~~~ speaking for myself... you can call me a promoter... i promote parties that my friends throw in new brunswick... i 'officially' promote for only one party... i make and distribute the fliers, as well as invite people via word of mouth... everything else is about parties that i enjoy and would like to get the word out about it... i like what they do, so i support it... i dont get paid.. i dont ask for money... ITS ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC... nyc is where its at (RIP twilo)... but while i live in jersey... i support my local scene... especially when i know they have a good thing going... i know for a fact that a bunch of people on the list are not 'promoters'... they just like certain parties and venues and would like to support them... isnt that what 'clubplanet' is supposed to be about... a place to share ideas and info about the scene... seems like people are more preoccupied with dumb things like banning promoters... if you dont like a post, ignore it... if you havent noticed, many of my posts dont get as many hits as others... not everybody appreciates techno, techouse, and drum and bass, as opposed to much celebrated cheese and progressive (im not hatin... i had my days 2.. and i werked at bunka), but maybe there are some out there that do... alot of people in nb that are into these genres of music dont even know about these parties... maybe theyll see a post, and check it out... i've been a member of this site for years... and the more time passes, the worse it gets... more drama, more bitching, and more assholes that think theyre club gods and divas... and it has scared away alot of the people who actually know what theyre talking about and care about the music and the club scene... i dont make a million posts (chek out the numbers), i only post when i feel i need to say something or share something... so RELAX... .g.

i think the age policy was geared more towards bringing in a more mature crowd... from my understanding newayz...

personally, i dont readily keep up with what parties are going on... especially in jersey... i dont think its problematic when people post about upcoming parties or about local clubs... how else is everyone else gonna kno =OP arent they just doing their job... i do my share of promoting because i support what i like... and would like to share it with others that are into the same music or scene... .g.

i didnt get to go in... i lost my id and i doubt they would have let me in with an expired one... i just window watched the traffic clogging up george and paterson, all the cop cars passin through, and the line of black coats and half nekkid girls waiting in the cold and rain... i recognized some of the clientele from bunka, abyss, and bunch of nb locals... as for the bartender thing... i know a shitload of people (including me) who didnt get hired... *sHrUg* as far as i heard they already had a full staff... i think they should have at least anticipated that opening night would require more staffing... i heard alot of good things bout the interior of the club tho... from a downtown new brunswick point of view... i see platinums success going either way... depending on how everything is managed... because at least for last nite, it was a mess... does neone know when it will be open again??
