Actually...believe it or not... been sober a while. My best friend basically gave me an ultimatum... That makes no sense. First off... I didn't "grow up" in CT. 14 years old does not make me a grown up. I still was "growing up" when I was in NY. Second... Actually... I was born in Manhattan.. Mount Sinai Hospital.. Then my parents moved to CT... Then I left home at 14.. And I lived for the last 17 years in Manhattan (besides 1 year in South Beach and a year traveling the world). So... That makes me a Manhattan boy.

HUGE. It's the best way to shoot. Shooting JPG, if your lighting, white balance and color is off, you are screwed. Shooting RAW, it shoots with all the different balances and data in one file... So, if I need to bring down the lighting, the data for that is there. Plus, it's lossless, so there is no compression loss of details. The only bitch is that the file size of each picture is huge (12 MB for my Nikon) and you need to convert the file to edit it in Photoshop or bring it to the web. I use Adobe Bridge to fix the RAW details (I forgot to mention, that if I over crop or fuck up the lighting/colors, it doesn't permanently change the original file, but makes a text XML file that resides in the same folder). Then I can bring each file one by one into Photoshop, or run a image process and batch them all through. Each shoot I do is about 1.000 pictures. It takes me days to edit them all (mostly cause I do it afterhours at home when I am free and watching TV and jerking off to cyberporn)...then 2-3 hours to process them through one photoshop filter and convert to JPG. It gets annoying when the model is on top of me asking for the picture to add to her Myspace page over and over right after I have taken the picture.

No.. your critique was good. Good advice too..thanx. I shoot with a Nikon D80. The lighting is from an SB800 Digital Wireless flash (center) and 2 wireless softboxes (side and above). I shoot in RAW, then edit in Photoshop with lighting, skin, cropping, etc. I don't like to edit too much (ie.. remove extra skin,etc). I'm more about natural. Untill you post that shit online and the cops come after u for it. One thing I never mentioned on my blog, is something the cops did when my friend went to go pick up her stolen property. They had my mug shot and all my personal information lieing open on the desk in front of them. They told her "Let Evan know we are watching him now".. Very fucked up. I didn't mention it because I didn't need the world to know my sordid past.. The cops showing her my personal info pisses me off (she knows my history...but still.. what the fuck).. As for them watching me... I do nothing wrong anymore.. So unless they plant something on me, nothing will happen. I actually went to visit one of my friends from my past life in November.. Knocked on his apartment door and was surrounded by cops with their guns out and pointed at me (I almost pissed my pants...I lost 5 lbs in sweat for the next 2 hours). Turns out, he had been raided the night before. Since I had nothing on me, and the cops had seen no warrants for me, they had to let me go (I also helped one of the cops with a computer problem he had at home...it's fun to bribe cops)..
