Does anyone know any computer stores that sells OEM parts in manhattan? Or a computer store with cheap prices. I want to buy a sound card (Sound blaster live) for a good price. thanks in advance.

I was @ all the soundfactory roadshows as well! They were amazing parties.. Funny thing is, I was only 18 @ the time, so I had to wait till 4:30 AM when they stopped serving alcohol to get in. (they were never strict @ the original factory, I never had a problem getting in. I stayed till the end @ the 3rd roadshow party. It ended @ 2:30 pm. the last song he played was Last Dance by donna summer.. does anyone remember?

That was the one... Yeah, I was hanging out in the streets too that night, it was somewhere in the east village. A rave in the city was cancelled that night, so everyone decided to go to caffine... Good memory!

Another Question. What clubs do people that used to go to NASA, Caffine or storm raves go to now?? I mean if they still go clubbing @ all. I myself go see Danny @ Vinyl (Yes, the old NASA space... can't seem to get away from it!!) I do go to Twilo Fri occasionaly, when it's not too packed. The crowd is a little to young for my taste though. (I'm 25) Although I love S&D, I don't go anymore cause it's too packed...

Yeah I remember it.. What ever happened to that place anyway.. I remember Johnathan Peters was spinning though.

I don't know what most people were saying, but NASA was awesome. The music was breakbeat back then. Think Prodigy, Run tings, all the stuff on Movin Shadow and Kickin records. The Dj's were DB, soul slinger and ON-E (Ani-Pherse). there were lots of guest appearances, such as Sven Vath (first time in the states), Hardfloor, and Moby. I also remember Guy Ornadel hanging out @ NASA as well. Frankie bones, Adam X, and Lenny Dee were having their (techno-Hadcore) RAVE parties in Brooklyn also, but they were more hardcore. Satellite was also throwing parties back then. Anyone remember Sputnik and Explorer?

I was there! I think Mike Dearborn from chicago was spinning with some other people from Harthouse records.. Crazy techno party!! The lights were amazing, weren't they? They had 16 golden scans on each side of the armory shining down to the dancefloor. I remember getting out and it was snowing outside! Oh, by the way, my first rave was Storm Rave 2 in '92 in Staten Island. Anyone go?? The DJ's were Keoki, Lenny Dee, Frankie bones and Repete! During that time I was also going to Scotto's NASA quite often. does anybody remember Mr. Kleen, ON-E, DB, Joeski, soul slinger? Wow, those were great times!! Since we're on the subject of raves, which rave was your favorite of all time? Mine was Blue in boston in '93. The Primary colors promotion team (Mello mello) threw the best raves.
