Drugs are everywhere..thats a given.. I remember factory being so much better..and many of us will agree it has gotten bad...so bad no one wants to even be there. Jonathan..very talented. some like him more than others..but u can't say he doesn't have something going for him But i remember the first time i went to hear pvd at twilo... lets talk about vibes.. good music and krakheads aside. Funny how this week everyone LOVED junior.. why..because it was his birthday?.. hello peeps.. the way he sounds on the events he sounds pretty much all the time...but i guess doing juniorverse isn't the thing to do when it's not the last week of august.... that vibe is always there..some weeks twilo is more crowded than others..but that vibe is what makes junior's following. Factory.... the sound factory vibe is lost..not in the sense that it's gone but it's lacking meaning/style/ or even a feeling... what the hell is going on there?.. it's getting gross.. i swear i saw the movie the cell this weekend ...and all i could think of was.. damn.. this marilyn manson vs. trashy porn vibe reminds me of factory nowadays...if it weren't for jonathans music i'd have nothing remotely positive to say about that place. Pvd.. never a dull moment..i was never even into progressive trance..but i am now more than ever since going to hear him..and how his party is just all out POSITIVE. I rarely see a crowd so alert and happy at the end of a set... the place is never sloppy at all. By dipped i don't mean literally DIPPED into and completely enveloped by lsd. Just as blotter paper is coated pills can be the same way. How in the world can you rely on "dancesafe.org" which tests maybe 50 pills or so on their site..IF THAT..when there are MILLIONS floating in various batches and concentrations. If you put all your faith behind a webpage to determine the safety of what u do that's wishful thinking. As for the visuals..sure it can be MDEA or MDA but it is very possible to get a flipped one. Actually, it does not stay in the base of your spine..that's lsd..but for the most part many hits are sometimes laced with acid so chances are if you are one of those who say "i'd never do acid..but i do xtc"..um..you probably have already done acid..most definitely. As for the back pain, i think this is just from putting strain on your back dancing all nite, who knows.. But in terms of your mind.. it def does cause major havok;(.. we all know it.. takes your brain at least a full two weeks to get anywhere near it's normal seratonin levels.. if you drop regularly...even longer... takes a good full 6 months to a year to set your brains chemicals back to normal. ok enough of the intervention.. happy topic anyone? jsc

BAD IDEA. a whistle here and there on a build up..fine fine..but i remember last fall some annoying juice head at factory would be there WEEK AFTER WEEK on the stairs blowing a whistle CONSTANTLY..people would literally be screaming at him from all angles.."shut the fuck up!!!!" and he would not stop..he would just bop in that typical guido bent over posture w/ the left hand spanking the air and the right hand on his forehead..eyes closed..whacked..going on and on with that FUCKING WHISTLE.. whistles bad. Especially Factory.. it was crazy back a few years but nowhere near as sloppy and TWISTED as it is now. I'm really not one to post much because who needs the aggravation....but this one REALLY has me.... Now, i spin on the side..love it to death and have an incredible amount of respect for the music and a number of dj's regardless of their styles...or their bad mixes here and there.....who cares..we're all human But the Steven Zor issue.... I thought it was just me.... Went to tunnel on a whim ..a few occasions during Zor's "residency" if u want to call it that..... Now i'll crack on jp occasionally (johnny some of those mixes are sounding like machinery throwing up) and junior (go ahead..steal some more beats and loop them to create your remixes)BUT when push comes to shove they know how to move thecrowds and they do have incomparable talents and you can't help but admire them....they have a devoted following.. they've developed club movements.....now that's LEGENDARY...but as for this zor thing... how in the world did this guy get a residency at tunnel?.. i know so many dj's that can't even get a break....dj's that you hear and say 'damn, you could pull off MAIN FLOOR EASILY..... Zor... the records were OLD. now it's all good to break out a sample or layer something old w/ something new..or whip out an anthem...BUT..a HALF HOUR of ROCK THE FUNKY BEATS IN JUNE 2000 ... no comment the crowd there before this reopening was young..and i'm sure it was the only club they could get into at their ages.. i GUARENTEE YOU it was a bunch of 14-16 year olds w/ fake 18 id's lol... it was like kindergarten..they still haven't developed their ear for musical phonics or something.lol.who knows.... But Zor..i don't know how u had that space..but u did.. and now Vicious is going to take it over.... sad when a dj takes a residency for granted..i'm sure at least a dozen kids that have some passion for what they do could have rocked that place. And if it really is StevenZor posting... come on man.. if you were so great why the hell would u be bickering w/ clubnyc peeps... they've ripped apart everyone from JP to Denny but do u see those dj's screaming back..if U COULD REALLY HOLD YOUR OWN.. you wouldn't care.. go shopping and at least get it going while people still know your name. jsc.

went there last summer and again 2 weeks ago.. more of a bar crowd outside the tent.. cpi-ish......and the muzik in the tent was a mess. mixing sucked..trainwreck central..just an awful experience

In terms of the name..yeah.. a new building has rights to it.. but as for a movement.. gotta give it to junior...46th street.jonathans got it............on 27th.. Junior created it.
