    This is BULL FECES. Twilo is way too fawking small for Oakenfold. I never made it to the Hammerstein (see my post on how my "friends" fucked me over, but I heard that shit was way too crowded. If the Hammerstein was way too crowded, then how the hell would it work in Twilo?? The next place, IMO, and I know this is gonna make everyone sick to their stomach that I think would be ideal (and this is thinking in A VERY IDEALISTIC WORLD BEFORE ALL YOU DRAMA QUEENS JUMP DOWN MY THROAT) would be....

    How I got screwed out of going to Paul Oakenfold:

    A bunch of freinds and myself agreed on going to see Paul Oak since we went last year. Because he was such a big hit when he came to the Bowery Ballroom in the Spring of '99 my friends that I went with were worried about it getting sold out at The Roxy last year. So they were on my back to find out how to get the tickets how to get the tickets how to get the tickets....

    Found out that you could get them through Ticket Master and went and purchased 3 tickets for my other 2 friends Vik and Nim.

    Never got paid for them.

    We then had Neel who found out that we were going who picked up tickets for him, Raj (who knows nothing about this music and still listens to Twilight Zone by 2 Unlimited), and Tom.

    Everybody went...everybody had a great time.

    This year we all said that we'd go again.

    All the tickets were bought, and I was in close contact with Vik who was in close contact with Raj who was in close contact with Neel, who made the purchase of the tickets. 10 tickets were purchased. Vik said that he would make sure that he got mine as he owed me for last year's tickets, plus that he would pay me for the other one that I got for Nim last year.

    All along Vik told me that we have a ticket for you we have a ticket for you, but Raj was like I don't know if Neel got you one. WTF asshole, you couldn't ask Neel if I was one of the 10??

    Even last night at 1 am Vik told me we have a ticket for you.

    Today I get up with a message on my cell from Vik:

    "Yo I just called Ticketmaster and they said that tickets are still available, and you can get one...."

    How FUCKED UP is that?? These guys are supposed to be my friends. We are all a crew that all decided collectively that we will go together. I was the one that came through with the tickets last year when Vik was worried about it getting sold out. The deal was that they would get me my ticket this year and pay me for the other one that I paid for last year and then we would be even. And they forgot ME??

    Now I have no ticket. I can get one, but just based on the fact that they viloated what they knew in principle put a whole damper on my mood. I don't want to go. Fuck it...I don't want to go. Tom was like just come and I was like nah dude...now I know where I stand with these guys and how important I am to them...

    well when and how does the little guy like myself with talent and skill, with access to tons and tons of unreleased tracks (you won't believe what i get my hands on) and respect at every major record store in the city, being practically deaf in one ear but able to beatmatch to a "T" be able to get a spot like that??

    i'm sick of going to clubs and hearing djs that shouldn't be in there. not to disrespect mundy or take anything away from him. i don't think he would be where he is today if he totally sucked. or maybe he does leave a little more to be desired in some people's eyes...i don't know? maybe he was having a bad night...it happens. maybe he knows the right people, and that's why he is where he is. but all i know is if i had a venue like that, despite all the bs that goes on with the place, with a booth and a system like that, combined with the music that i get...i would tear that place a new asshole every week...

    and for those of you who don't believe it...i'm gonna post where i'm spinning next friday really soon, and i want you guys all to come, and watch out for my series of monthly mix tapes to start in december in all stores that sell them. it's about time...

    Does anybody have or has anybody here heard Mada & Moody's new track "Come To Me"?? The song is absolutely fucking nuts!! I heard it less than 2 months ago on Skribble & Moody's Dance Factory and had no idea what it was, then I was at China Club this past Saturday and Moody played it during his set. I asked him what it was and he gave me the name...saying it wasn't coming out until January cwm36.gif . I was going to ask him for a promo copy but I got too drunk at the end cwm3.gif Does anybody have it, or has anyone heard it??

    yeah man i'm there FOR SURE. There is no way I am missing PVD after the show he put on last time. i have to dj

    1) 2 parties on friday

    2) a wedding on saturday night that STARTS at 6PM and then at ARIA after

    3)and then i have to come home and catch a 7am flight to ARUBA to dj there on sunday night. if i miss the flight i am fucked.

    do you think i can pull off PVD??
