I didn't see or read the article, but I find it comical. About a month ago, a friend of mine at work asked me to let some journalist interview me and a friend over the phone anonymously about 'drugs and the club scene.' It was for an article for one of those NY bullshit papers. I read the article later laughing. I didn't do the interview, but listened and wrote shit down for the guy at the desk next to me to say. So those articles are basically BS... Truth of the matter is...we just don't know the long term side effects...cut and dry. My ex-girlfriend has read things and studies (she's a nurse) and after everything she's found, won't ever do it again. I, on the other hand believe that moderation is the key to success. We only have our given time on this planet to enjoy ourselves...So what if I have adverse effects when I'm 60+?? I had a hell of a time in my 20s...

i keep hearing about the lineup in the future, and will most def be there...and I am pissed that junior wasn't spinning, but that kid chris did his thing nonetheless. see ya'll later...

Well Friday was alright - home and passed out by 5...Saturday began with drinks and food for lunch, more drinks with friends ALL DAY, meet up with some people at some downtown bar, some more people at NV, and somehow ending up at Twilo just bugging out. I'm not gay, and I didn't realize it was gay night till about 5:30 in the morning, but it didn't matter...it was just a cool night and didn't end till 11 or so on Sunday. I had only been to Twilo for the Groove opening party, but left early. Twilo is definately the experience I've heard, from laying on the speaker at who knows what time - loving the painting on the ceiling that some girl pointed out to me, to hearing Sume Sigh Seh at 7 in the morning, to just everybody respecting everybody else and being cool... Will definately be a repeat visitor, already have plans for S&D...

B2B - good lookin out...I'm always asking people what tracks THEY like and want to hear when clubbing. While I appreciate and enjoy so many types of house music, I spin primarily disco, remake and vocal house... Centro-Fly Thursdays are the best for a good vibe, good crowd, and for good vocal house like "they used to make"...

not to be corny...but yu just know. if you have to think about and analyze shit - or "make it work" - it's just not the real deal... my two cents...

Okay ladies and gentlemen...the question is on the table. Aside from all of the crap on the news and all the BS...I want to know what everybody knows and/or thinks about those little pills that couldn't have a more appropriate name. I've been on the sites and talked to nurses and doctors about this. What are the "side-effects" or long-term effects that you all might have encountered or heard about - and what is really true? I wanna know what all of you know...so let the discussions begin...

Hey..I hear where you're coming from with the desire to wear what you want. That's everyone's choice. But just because you like the classic Limelight days and the casual atmosphere and dress code of SF, you shouldn't view those who like to get dressed up when they go out - whether it be for an all-nighter at SF or an early one at Chaos, it's not about gear. The truth of the matter is that it is all about the attitude and the vibe of anybody that hits any of these places. Just because someone sports some nice gear to the club rather than their club shirts and sneakers, that doesn't mean that they don't dance and party with the best of 'em. Don't get me wrong...I get down in whatever. I just know that there are nights of sneakers, and nights in some shoes and pants - that many times end up at SF. It's all about the music and the people...not the clothes... Just my 2 cents...

No. Cool place as far as setup. People suck. The sound system is one of the worst I've heard...and while Grandmaster Flash is a legend and friend, not his place. A place like that needs good new music...not old stupid played stuff...
