I have big hopes for Crobar NYC... BUT with optimism. Not sure if you guys rememeber 2 summers ago Space opened in Southampton. It had good DJ's out there, I mean I saw DT but it was the old Flying Point and the didn't remodel the place, and was closed after only 4 months. TOTAL FLOP! No idea how the hell the muffed that... I was looking at that place on the space website before it opeened and expected BIG things... all to no avail! Its now Pier 1 Imports! Just food for thought that sometimes expectations do not meet reality.

Just because a club is open for as long as Factory is does not mean it was open JUST because it is good. More like, city officials, cops and detective have been handled from shutting it down. If the community got tired of the people falling out those doors, and made a stink.... SF would not be kept open cuz JP has been spinnin there since Baez and cuz the sound systems kicks ass. Politics and money keep that place open and Richard knows how to balance that for this long. That is what other clubs (Twilo, Tunnel) were not able to do for the longevity that SF has. Also, the staff has been good making sure that it does not get to out of control fights or OD's. But the flip side is, where does the money Richard have come from? The thousands of people that want to go to one of the most famous clubs in NYC. Spend tons of money there so Richard can keep it open. a cycle......

not to get off the topic but think about being at Factory sober... and sitting and watching everyone all banged up. Sit back and really take in some of what goes on there. I mean do not get me wrong plenty of nights and mornings and afternoons I was there... but to be sober and actually watch people doing exactly what you said... jumpin around with no shirts, pounding on thier chests, eyes fallin out of thier heads, biting thier tongues off, lockjaw, inhalers and yes even once I saw guys doing PUSHUPS... and they spend lots of money to do it. LOL................ FUCKIN HILARIOUS! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: Some people live and learn I guess..... Some people never learn....

Was driving to work today and for some reason a song popped in my head and I can not remember for the life of me who sings it... goes something like... "Sensations of the mind" Is that the name of it? Who sings it?

And the lord gave the world another DJ Skribble fan.... Song sucks man, keeps repeating the same vocals for 11 minutes. But hey to each thier own!

I know Luzzi and his band are going to Cali in January to visit labels to try and get signed. He ended his house career cuz he hates the genre and used it to get into the industry and get some recognition. I know he likes alternative and when he was in college his band at the time was doing Creed and Pearl Jam cover shit.
