    Class Acts!!!

No, that's not what I said, what I said is Pedro could have handled it different. Push him away, don't take his head and smash it to the ground. And actually Pedro got lucky all he needed was a band-aid, what if something worse happened? There's just nothing I can think of to justify those actions, it has nothing to do w/the uniform he's wearing either. Human decency doesn't get determined by where you play.

Yes you are correct, Roger did do all that, and when he did, I lost a lot of respect for him, I chalked it up to where he came from. If you feel it's okay to toss a 72 year old man, who happens to have a plate in his head from a beaning and perhaps gets a little upset about those sort of things, then you've got issues. He could have handled it different. Zimmer shouldn't have charged him, but he didn't have to toss him head first into the ground.

That's nice. Regardless of the fact that Zimmer came at him, he could have handled it much different, he's a senior citizen for God's sake. But I guess I shouldn't expect better behavior from someone who throw's at peoples heads, obviously not a lot of regard for people's safety. As for the bullpen, according to most accounts the Red Sox employee started it, swung first, so don't expect people to act like punching bags, just cause they are ball players. None of that should have happened, not the intentional beaning, not Zimmer being thrown to the ground, not Manny thinking a pitch that was closer to New York then his head was aimed at him and not the bullpen incident. And you can try and rationalize it any way you want, but your team plays dirty.
  6. Okay, like I said, the black dot indicts that you have responded to it. You'll only see it on your screen. If you start a thread or respond to one, it will have the black dot. If you don't do either, then no dot.
  7. Each board is different, on mine, I only see the black dots on threads I've responded to. On yours, you will only see the dots on threads you've responded to. Maybe I'm not following what you are asking.
  8. The black dot means you've responded to that thread, so naturally if you started the thread, there will be a black dot there.
  9. Um, well, but...you know I don't drink on Saturdays I will go to Deko, only if Joe promises to do a strip tease...I promise to bring lots of dollar bills!!!! Pwease?????
  10. :bounce: Happy Birthday Sayno!!! :bounce: To the prettiest, bestest, most wonderful Twitty in the whole wide world!!! Love you babygirl!!! I hope your day is fabulous and your year is even better!!!! With a little bit of this and a whole lotta that, and none of that!!! And to Phil, one of the sweetest kids ever, Hap, hap, Happy Birfday!!! :balloon: Are you even legal yet?
  11. I feel powerful in mine!!! It's not as big as the ones you mentioned, it's an Envoy, but I looooooooooooove it!!! Also, I'm smaller girl, but I want to feel safe in the snow. I'd have heart attacks when it snowed and I'd have to drive to work in my car. Now, it's not an issue! Plus if I were older & had kids, I'd want a truck before a mini-van.
  12. a.k.a. Jack Tripper. He was only 54, so sad. Story
  13. I smell the scent of a dumbass. I love you dear, sweet souls who seem to think 30 is OLD. I got news for you tykes, it ain't. And if you feel old when you are 30, then I feel even worse for you, cause in most instances, you aren't even half way through with your life. This is the most ridiculous thread I've ever read. For any of you to sit & judge and say what is pathetic or what is acceptable, is just plain ridiculous. For one thing, until you are that age, I wouldn't be so quick to say what you would or would not do. Never say never as they say. Aaaahhhh to be young & STUPID!!!!
  14. Read your first quote, pretend I'm saying it to you. No, but seriously, it's not fair to judge people on their age, or say they should be doing this or that. A large part of the reason people go to clubs is to meet and interact w/others. If by 30 you haven't met a significant other, it's real hard to just sit home at night, cause you surpass some sort of age requirement. This isn't to say Temps or any club, is where you should be looking for love, but the local laundramat doesn't usually hold socials.
  15. Old School w/Vince Vaughn? He has brown eyes no? So does Juliette Lewis, no? Or did you mean, almost everybody?
  16. Thank you!!! Hey Cigs, got any crack?
  17. There was a he/she like that at South Park last year, worst drag queen I've ever seen. Poor fella, seemed kind of confused.
  18. Thanks guys!!! Whew! What a relief to finally turn 21, now I can throw that fake ID away. Last year or so's been rough, bouncers just weren't buying the whole 1973 thing. <~~~Me
  19. I highly recommend the Candlelight Inn in Lavallette, it's little bit of a drive from Seaside but the hotel is clean and the people are very friendly. Personally I don't like to stay in Seaside, it grosses me out during the day.
  20. Awe! I miss the old XS, in all it's tacky glory!
