  1. Get over the ex, tell current b-friend you can't be with him cause u had sex with someone else. Forget both, move on, and start out clean and fresh. In my book that would be the only right thing to do.
  2. Damn... That must have been great. I should really consider moving to Europe.
  3. ok, so you made me make one post.
  4. I was there last week end. Didn't go clubbing, so can't comment on that. But women are extremely hot. Especially if you like french. Very attractive. I haven't seen so many people out in the streets in any city yet. And prices are very cheap. ------------------ Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. -Albert Einstein
  5. I'd give myself a modest 8. Trance is the best for dancing to me. When it gets fast and euphoric. 6. Tenupa - you don't have to do the tandem first. When I did it I had the option of jumping alone, but in that case there would have been no free fall, the parachute would open automatically right when you jump out. Free fall was the best part of it, so I'd recommend doing the tandem. Yeah, Einstein has a lot of good quotes, here's another couple that I like: "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." "Reading, after a certain age, diverts the mind too much from its creative pursuits. Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking." "As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain; as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality." "If A equals success, then the formula is: A = X+Y+Z. X is work. Y is play. Z is keep your mouth shut." ------------------ Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. -Albert Einstein [This message has been edited by dzadza (edited 06-14-2001).]
  7. I'm terribly afraid of heights, but am extremely happy that I tried it. One of the most memorable experiences. I did the tandem jump too, but in my case it was a cute chicky on my ass. So no bad parts. We did a couple of flip-turns in the beginning too. There was a third guy jumping with us with a video camera filming the fall from just 4-5 feet away. Having the video was definitely worth an extra $40. I'd recommend everyone try it. ------------------ Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. -Albert Einstein [This message has been edited by dzadza (edited 06-14-2001).]

  13. That's f* up. On the other hand, I can't understand the the thinking of men doing that shit. How can a woman make you go for that? I just don't get it... 21. I agree with every point you mentioned. Yes, that's a valid argument. Such treatment of patrons is a very valid case for a lawsuit. However, I didn't see an ARGUMENT in the daily news article. It was more of a colorful story designed to turn the public against a club (or the scene in general). And in order to achieve this more effectively and remove any responsibility from that couple the reporter COMPLETELY skipped any details on why they ODed to begin with. That's what I'm very unhappy with. And as an example, I can bring the same analogy you mentioned. Suppose they only had too much to drink. The reported would go on and on telling how they were law-abiding citizens. But he is avoiding the drug issue as much as possible. Why? To display the club as the sole root of the problem. ------------------ A man who has attained complete mastery of an art reveals his presence of mind in every action.
  22. Exaclty. Sounds like they were just walking around in the city, minding their business, doing nothing wrong, and then suddenly got attacked and abducted and almost killed by this evil thing Twilo. ------------------ A man who has attained complete mastery of an art reveals his presence of mind in every action. 23. Interesting the way they describe how this "innocent" couple, who did absolutely nothing wrong, almost got brutally killed by this "monster TWILO". And not even mentioning why this incident happened to begin with and how they got into that state. Of course the couple did nothing wrong, it was probably Twilo management who put a gun against their head made them take GHB. Sure blame it all on the scene... People have nothing to do with it. ------------------ A man who has attained complete mastery of an art reveals his presence of mind in every action.
  24. I am VERY, VERY happy with my cable. I have been CONSISTENLY getting 150 KBytes/sec downlad and 40 KBytes/sec upload speeds. I'd like to see a DSL beat this. ------------------ A man who has attained complete mastery of an art reveals his presence of mind in every action.
