  1. And this is an issue? If you want to party outside, then you should be prepared for a ticket. No different then a club, you keep it all in-doors. It is not like the article suggests that doors are being kicked in to prevent parties from taking place. In fact, it appears that warnings are being issued first, which does not sound all too troublesome to me.
  2. So I guess the answer to the question is that he is going to be spinning ever weekend but not while his new booth is being built? I don't know if that makes sense.
  3. Due for a change? Maybe, but for the better or worse.... I do not believe that SF will "def be hot." It has the possibility of being hot, but with JR not being able to turn in good numbers, I do not if a piecemeal assortment of DJs will do the trick. I think the ownership merely underestimated the loyality that JP's fans had for him. Still, having the club fight for its life can only be a good thing for clubbers relating to price and suh. We shall see what time reveals....
  4. Never say never. But SF is on the ropes. I bet that the ownership is wishing they did not roll the dice and get rid of Jonathan Peters. I know all of the SF promoters will put on a brave face regarding this failure and say that it is the start of a "new era." But that is what they said when JR went to SF -- who I think is a great DJ with amazing staying power. The three ages of the new SF: 1. JP 2. JR 3. Various DJs (some good and some not so good). So far, most would agree that the JP age has been SF's best. When Twilo closed and shut JR out of his residency, at least the owners could blame the police and city. SF can blame itself for the debacle it is in now.
  5. I agree with the economics statement above, but that is about it. I think Junior and Jonathan are both better DJs than any of us will ever dream of being. They both have a great ability to make this thing we call music. I hope they both land on their feet and get gigs at wonderful clubs. I plan on listening to them both in the future!
  6. Not high on my list, but he is not that bad....
  7. Sounding more and more like a fake party being hyped without any specifics. Listen, I can have a 100 hour party in my basement. The trick is to have a phat party which kicks the door in. I do not see SF doing it at this point -- not because of JP, but because it has been going downhill for quite some time. SF - RIP
  8. ??? - Who owns/promotes the place? Still cannot get over it not being Twilo.
  9. An active link to the video still exist?
  10. Sorry to hear that Arc is on its way out....
  11. Grant may have owned the space when it was the old SF, but Phil Smith owned Twilo. To try and say that Grant made Sasha & Digweed, Carl Cox or any of the other mega-DJs is simply an incredible statement to make. If I am wrong I would love to know, but I doubt it.
  12. That is a great may "AND/OR" statements in one. Are all of these DJs showing up or none? If so, what night. Sounds a lot like Exit of old, promising Timo Mass and giving us Tino Mase.
  13. Oh. No strippers or anything at the lounge.
