If JP used the American flag to clean off his hands then I will not be hitting sound factory anytime soon. I would really like to know if this is true.

What side does your other friend have? He admits that he is a rat. He did this because he got in trouble with the law and decided that he would drag someone else down for his own misbehavior. Sounds straight forward to me. While getting a rap sheet is something a person has to consider when they decide to deal drugs, it is always a punch in the stomach when a person you believed to be a friend betrays you. Why post on the board???? The question itself is stupid. There may be many other people out there that may fall for this setup. People need to know if a person who comes to them asking for a favor is actually entraping them for the police. Your "friend" is apparently such a person and his identity should be known to those who might be setup by him. As for this guy being your friend, be careful on whom you use that term with. Any future problems that arise from your association with him are your own fault.

Having gone to the place, I can tell you that it was nothing like the old Twilo. Is still had a nice time hanging out with my friends from bygone days. However, I will stay with the New York venues in the future.

I have had quite a few great nights at Centro. Even before Twilo closed (which by far was the club with the best line up of DJs this city has seen since I have been clubbing), Centro had a nice line up of upper minor league DJs. For those who take offense at this classification, they have yet to bring in a PVD, Sasha, Digweed, Carl Cox, etc... While they brought in Danny recently (for a fund raiser) he is NYC.

Renee (a wonderful french name): Glad to hear in detail your Ibiza exploits. While Americans are a minority of those on the Island, they treat us very, very well. It also seems that the bartenders are very suprised when you tip them. I would love to know why...

While I doubt that it will be as good as the original, I am still going. Twilo was not the DJs (who you never really met) or the location, but the people who I saw every couple of weeks. I know that a whole bunch (more than two dozen) people that I know from those days are going there tonight. Therefore, I am heading there tonight and I am going to have a great time hanging out with them. I would like to know how the name came about if it is not affiliated with the original club. Talk about the creation of confusion. From the Twilo web site, it doesn't indicate anything about the new Twilo.

While I do not know the link to the old Twilo... (probably none). However, I know two to three DOZEN friends who clubbed at Twilo who are going tonight (Friday). Even if it doesn't meet expectations, it should be a great reunion. Hope to see everyone that I know and love from those wonderful days.

A person I know was taken by the orange gang and shaken down... everything PLUS his cash. They did leave him with $20 for the ride home (very nice of them). This happened some time ago (in club time) and around closing time. However, I have never have had a problem with anyone. The music is great and I like the people who are there. Perhaps they just didn't like him...

No. 1 I agree with the comment that the people make a club (the party goers coupled with the Djs). I never had a bad time a Twilo based upon the awesome line-up of DJs and a really nice group of people partying. As for the juice head comment, my apologies if I offended you. However, I note that my comment is from real life. Perhaps it would have been different if I did not go to Exit with a very good looking girl. However, I brought my girlfriend to other clubs wherein the people just had much more class. It is not an issue of a girl getting hit on because someone sees a pretty girl. This happens anywhere and I am not crying. However, every place that I have gone where a person is told that my girlfriend is taken, they show enough respect to leave her alone. This is also the case when we go to a place which is predominately gay, such as Twilo or Roxy on a Saturday night, Spa on a Thursday, or Cheetah on a Sunday, and guys are hitting on me. Respect is simply a character trait that is missing from too many people from Exit. Nothing that I have heard from people whom I have gone clubbing with has been much different with regard to scope of the poor attitude that many who visit this venue. Therefore, if I offended you by noting that many of the people who decide to go to Exit clearly have had their brains deep fried, if they had brains to begin with, then you are reminded of the saying, “If the shoe fits...” I will be at Vinyl tonight for what I hope to be a good time and perhaps World tomorrow night with Paul Oakenfold. I went to EXIT on a Saturday once and had to leave after 1 1/2 hours. In this amazingly small amount of time, I almost got into TWO fights because other men, who were obviously brain damaged at birth, would not leave my girlfriend alone. What good is a nice looking place and decent” mucic if the scene sucks. I have never had that problem at Centro-Fly (Thursday or Saturday), Spa (Thursday or Saturday), Twilo (Friday and clearly not on Saturday), or even at Sound Factory (which some people compare to Exit). Junior Vasquez spins really good music and I might consider checking the place out again when he is there. However, I almost tense with the expectation of additional meatheads who have clearly used too much juice and too much of their own drugs! Guess only time will tell....

hey there... I wanted to know if anyone new the rocking song that was put on just as Mark Lewis was coming on. Cox was swinging a record in his hand as the crowd went wild??? Any information would be welcome. (I was told it mighht be by PMT and the song being Gotcha) However, i can't find this anywhere. Help!!!

I would wonder about the guy if I was her. However, there are a lot of people in the world with problems in that area. If he has had problems with other women than the problems is clearly mental. Yes, it could be he is gay, but it also could be dozens of other mental issues. It is something (unless he is gay) that can probably be overcome. However, a big issue in my mind is his drinking!!! Tell him if he wants to have an excuse not to perform, than he better use some more acceptable party favors! Of course you can tell your friend to forget her own troubles and hang out with everyone on the 22nd when S&D come back into town.

Hi there. I was at Carl Cox this past Friday at Twilo and I was informed that a song (in which Carl, with record in hand, got the crowd going at the end of his set) was called Gotcha by a roup called PMT. The song was amazing and I wanted to find it in a record store but could not even find the group. Any one have any helpful hints, it would be appreciated. Thanks, James. P.S. A great party every single night? In Ibiza it came true. Walking out of clubs every 6 am in the morning. Then going to Space at 8am to start the partying again!!! I was there the first week of September the 5th through the 12th and it was pure amazing fun. I am probably going to go back this coming summer. If anyone is going (or wants to go) this coming summer, let me know we can compare plans. James.
