    I've gone to the WMC the past 3 years it's a great time. However I strongly do not recomend buying WMC conference tickets. It's a waste off $300. Parties are run like our's here in NYC.

    As far as flights and hotels good luck finding anything left affordable.

    We got our tickets 2 months ago and rented a phat yet quite expensive aparment for the week, just to save a few $,$$$.

    Bratnik! Have you been there on any other night? Someone told me that its better on the weekend.

    I must say the weekends at Saci are a far different crowd.

    My partners and I have been the sole Saci friday promoters since Saci opened it's doors April 2000. Our party is a great party with even better people.

    However we cater to a more bottle VIP scene. Our guest are mainly from the fashion and entertainment industries. With a few hipsters and trendies too.

    So our door policy remains pretty tight. If you want to ever stop by and see the difference let me know.

    If you are interested in partying until dawn, "The Loft" <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/newyearseve/">new years </a> party will be openning our door to the general public at 2am though 7am. This will in conjunction with our regular <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/newyearseve/">new years eve</a> party so dress appropriately.

    Yeah right, SPA is as easy as they come to get into. That's if you have the right look and attitude. Lotus, yeah they might let a few of the beautiful people slip by, but I've seen super model Giselle get denied. I don't think even Tao has that policy.

    Well I can only speak for my own party at Saci, Spoiledbrat Friday's.

    SACI is still a hotspot for model/trendy crowd. It's pretty crazy outside. Yeah we have a tough rope policy, but that's just the way the scene is. Anyway if you are looking for the "scene" Saci on Friday is the only place to go, if you want to experience a vipe where only the music matters go to Twilo on Friday. Besides we play mostly hip hop at SACI friday's.

    woodside/sunnyside is a great neighborhood! tons of irish pubs and great take out places. it's also very cheap. i have a HUGE 2 br apt for $1100/month. best of all, the walls are practically soundproof, so i'm loud at all times of the night and no one complains!

    and if you're lookin' for late night eats, the Sunlite Diner on 39th St and Queens Blvd. has great cheap, greasy diner food.

    and my two favorite bars in Queens are both in L.I.C., Amnesia on Broadway off the N train and Tupelo on 36 Ave. . . great music and good crowds. . .
