Tempkid it's that attitude that gives you scene a bad name. Music and clubbing are not about fights. It's a way to escape and relax. Your type of attitude the reason why so many of us make fun of your scene.

At least we can see the sun come up. Imagine living on Boston where the clubs close at 2am. Sometimes that's when I go out.
However, I hate it when the sun goes up b/c my eyes hurt and my heart gets heavy as I know I must spend a lot of $$$ to do it all over again.

I also have to disagree. I thought the mixed crowd made the party a true NYC event. I almost didn't go b/c I thought I thought the crowd would be mainly under 21 year olds. Yet this 27 year old got to dance my ass off, which never happens at Twilo anymore b/c of the over selling.
I thought the music was fine yeah Oakie was off a bit, but like Parish said he was ill. Besides Max G. was the best music all night.
Parish Sandra played a different set than at 6th element. It was darker and she fucked up at the beginnig with her turntable needles however the set kept me going until the end.
All in all I thought the concert was well worth it.

Oakie's an 18+ show. I think you can buy your ticket at the door, but they are also availible through ticketmaster.

Spa great, it's my second favorite place in NY. Second to SACI nightclub. Anyway both SACI and Spa cater to the trendy/ fashion scene.
SPA is best on Tuesday's and Saturday's
SACI rocks mainly FRIDAY's

D you gave SPA the friday weekend pick a while ago. Now I know that you are certainly not an A-list player. Maybe you should ask Greg Z. at clubplanet for some help with those events where the velvet rope actually means something.

Alex how's things been? I've heard the party is still kicking ass. Maybe I'll make a guest appearance soon once I negotiate my fall line up soon.

The crew from Globalbeats.com tried to have a weekly open table party at Shampoo in the city and it failed big time. That was just a few weeks ago, what's going to make yours any different.
They have one of the largest House/ Drum bass etc.. vinyl record sites out there.

Was one of the best events I've ever attended. Right out of Hollywood!!
However it's my guess that most of this board would not even know who he is. Sorry about the slander, it's just my opinion.

Oak's coming to Tavern in August. He'll be playing to us "dull" A-list crowd, which seems to get put down on this board everyday. Even in our dull world we too know great music.
General admission that night will be around $50.
21 and up

Sounds like you would be interested in the trendy scene. My friday event we allow an under 21 year old every now and the b/c many of our guests are from the modeling industry so we make exceptiions for women.
