how's the music at exit on sat nowadays? I havent been there in along time

Well in the caribbeans the night life is pretty lame to tell you the truth....Bahamas is too cold to go during the winter (lo-high 70s)...I could only suggest that you check out Jamaica (I'll be there in december) or the british/u.s virgin islands. Good luck

Wait...who influenced who? PvD has been around a very long time....if anyone has influenced him as a producer, its probably cosmic baby, sven vath, bt, New Order, etc... Digweed is just a dj and made only one original song: heaven sent under the alias 'bedrock'. As long as the album goes, he didnt have to thank anyone but his own damn genious! As a Dj maybe PvD should thank Sven and some other old timers....but certainly not Dig!

NoLimit: 1st: I've seen seaman/deepdish spin before. 2nd: Trust me when I say this, I would Love to go to Twilo every weekend. The DJs are absolutely amazing and I have the best time everytime I go. But its draining because I work 60-80 hours a week doing research. Everytime I go to Twilo, I get home around 9-10 in the morning. On a normal day, I would have been at work for at least three hours by then. It screws up my schedule...no wait, it totally turns it upside down and its a real bitch to deal with the next week. Plus when I get to Twilo, I had just finished a 12-14hr day at work, a day which starts at 6am. I think that is not an excuse but a logical reason not to go as often as I would like. So now, I save my all-out nights at Twilo for PvD (used to be S&D also but they're spinning way too much dark house these days....its nice but I'm not too crazy about it) I still haven't seen Sven Vath, but that'll soon change...I've been wanting to ever since he got his residency here. I am trying to work my schedule to go see him this month. ------------------

I'm not sure if I'm going to see deep dish/seaman yet...I can only goto Twilo like once a month max cause it totally drains me and messes up my schedule for the next week or so. I am defiantely going to see PvD on July though. anyways, Black Raver huh? I think I've seen you guys around most definately! If i am not mistaken, You guys are pretty sick with those glow sticks & misc. lights (i think the last pvd night you guys were wearing some glow wire down the sides of your pants?...am i right?) ------------------

I think 'Tranceport' is the best album/mix that Oaky put together but its still not as good as PvD's (I've seen Oaky many times and I don't like his vibes...he's way too dark for me). Sasha has a great album too the Digital Underground SF: espacially disc 2 (the breeder song 'the chain' is awesome!) But the edge goes to PvD's Seven Ways...old but I feel its still one of the best ------------------

If its one of his songs that he played that night...then I only recognized one song of his during his entire set: 'Another Way' but there's no vocals in the song... ------------------

I had the most incredible night that night. PvD is the man! S&D is starting to get too dark and house-y for me but PvD's been on the ball! He's been spinnin' nice and heavy trance beats with awesome, mind blowing buildups. It was definitely crowded but I don't think it was as crowded as his usual nights for some reason... when the complainers/drunks started to leave ~4am, that's when the party really got going for me. There was enough room to dance and walk around...not to mention PvD really got into his funky groove! Awesome night, I didn't leave till close. ------------------
