The Tourney is Set its time to put up or shut up. THE 1st Annual Big Daddy Promo Basketball Tourney is a go. Here are the details for all teams and fans. Date: Sunday, February 29th Time: Games start at 1PM Sharp all teams must be signed in by 12:30. Place: Rexplex Entertainment Complex located right across the street from IKEA off Exit 13A NJ TPike in Elizabeth Here are the bracking, as you can see they are all brackets are done geographically for competition purpose. And for those that know the business better then others people will see that there are already some animosity betweens staffs / owners / etc. Group 1: Merge/Circa (whatever they want to be called ) family South Park Joeys Nightclub Group 2: Abyss DEKO Platinum Group 3: clubplanet njguido NJ's finest DJs each team will be guaranteed at least 2 games against the other two teams in its group. The best team in each group will advance to the semifinals with one wildcard which will be determined by points for vs. points against differential. Winning team will hold the trophy in its possession til next years tourney. EVERYONE IS INVITED TO ATTEND ITS FREE TO WATCH THERE ALSO WILL BE A CASH BAR AND A SKYBOX TO HANG IN WITH A PURCHASE OF A 50/50 RAFFLE TICKET

Every week there seems to be a new Friday party starting and every time the same thing happens. The party does well the first week or two and then everyone seems to make their way back to Joeys. Each and every week for the last 4 years I have provided you the top djs, theme parties and the hottest performances. Are these new places prepared to do that. I think not. Joey's has recently redone its sound and it sounds just as good as all the bigger rooms in NJ. To thank everyone for their support over the last 4 years at Joeys, this Friday begins our 4 week promotion thanking everyone for making IN Fridays at Joeys the longest running Friday party in the tri-state area. Each week we have chosen 2 or 3 counties and anyone from those counties who comes in with the mailer card, joey's nightclub email, my email or responds to my thread from each individual county receives a gift. This Friday, February 20th, all residents on our mailing list, email lists and CP members from Essex and Bergen County receive free admission plus a copy of Kirk's new CD. Those who have heard Kirk spin, this is a must have CD. Also, all ladies on these 3 lists receive one free drink as part of Vic Latino's promotion, It's All About the Ladies honoring all those women out there that just didnt get what they wanted for Valentines Day. Next Friday, February 27th, my annual birthday gala with music by my partner from my Saturday gig @ DEKO, Richie Santana. In honor of me growing up in Hudson County then moving to Union County and now living in Middlesex County. All people on our mailing list, email lists and CP members from these 3 counties get in free and receive a free CD. Friday, March 5th, Sergio and Kirk Lopez present OLD SKOOL. Kirk will be dropping bombs from the early 90's to now. It's time the man that has been around the longest dig deep for some great banging old tracks. All Morris and Passaic county residents on our lists receive free admission plus a guaranteed copy of a RETRO CD that Kirk will make for the night. Friday, March 12th, THE RETURN OF DENNY TSETTOS. Those that heard Denny on Presidents Day Sunday at Joeys probably heard one of the best sets played at Joeys in a long time. Denny is excited about the new additional sound added to Joeys and last Sunday he worked it to the max. In honor of TEMPS COMING SOON (thank god) all Monmouth and Ocean County residents enter free and receive their choice of either Kirk's Tribal CD or Retro CD. PS> You dont have to be from the celebrated county to get a CD these people are just guaranteed a copy. I just went to vegas for super bowl weekend and it was great. I had a super time. the foundation room in the mandalay bay is unbeleivable on monday night. best night down there. i have been there 100 times but i was never around for a monday night. it was great 3 rooms of music lots of ass.

Soundgarden has officially dropped out of the tourney I need to find one team. I am hoping it will be another club. Sleep, XL, etc. there is another spot hit me up on this thread.

Today is February 16th and I have not received one dollar from any team. I know the 3 clubs I am involved with have ownership paying the entry fee so I will get that from them. Everyone else I need money by this weekend. I need to put a deposit in by this week.

This Thursday come check me out @ DEKO as I join forces with the boys from Nu Society as we present Erick Morillo from 11pm to close. Hit Joe Armenio for guest list info. This Friday, Joeys welcomes Widelife Live performing the song from the #1 Show in America, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Who knows maybe the boys make a little guest appearance. Also, pick up your free admission pass to DEKO for Saturday night. Saturday Night, special WOMEN HATE THEIR MEN Party at DEKO. Ladies get free admission til 11 and all groups of women that are 4 or more get a free bottle of Moet. Also, anyone attending Joeys on Friday night will get a free admission pass to DEKO for this Saturday only.
