OK Saleen here you go a post from the leader of the Saturday DEKO clan. Yes it might of been a good thread in one sense that is we are supposed to be a lounge and it seems to be a smaller club instead. That is the only justification I will give when it comes to the negative part of this thread. Definitely agree with BMW when it comes to people having a preference of who they want to listen too and if they feel Denny brings a bad vibe to DEKO then just dont come. When I set out and spoke to ownership about creating this party I said I wanted it to be a NYC lounge with great music, like the party at Centro Fly on Thursdays who even have a more widely known talent lineup then DEKO (Deep Dish, Seb Fontaine, etc.). Didnt someone just say we should be more like Centro Fly. Exactly. Denny and Richie are both outstanding DJs and with the combination of both of them and a great support team, DEKO Saturdays have become the only place being talked about on Saturdays in all of NJ. We try to do the right thing at the door by not allowing alot of people in but its tough when your staff knows a lot of people and everyone and the mother wants to have a bday party there. We are super exclusive outside ask the 300 guys who walked away from the line when they saw us bringing in only girls at one point. Again I am sorry for everyones complaints but DEKO is a great venue with a powerful team around it. We know the right people and they follow us expecting only the best. What am I supposed to expect when I run the SUnday party at SURF. I know that Temps crowd very well and they seem to enjoy the parties I am involved with. They are my friends and I love when they are around. So if anyone has a complaint about it being Temps 2 blame me. I dont think it is a bad thing. No guys walking around with their shirts off or even cut sleeves and the girls wow what more can I say, girls that actually look good in a cut shirt (now wow that is something missing from lots of clubs in NJ). Now another problem I have with this thread that you can only expect I was going to touch on. Laurie I respect the fact that everyone has their own opinion when it comes to all facets of life but for you to call Denny insecure u have crossed the line. Denny takes pride in what he does, like everyone should. I know I would be real offended if someone told me that they thought my party on Friday at Joeys, Saturday at DEKO or even Sunday at the SURF in the summer sucked. I take it to heart. As most people know I do not do this full time but it still is nice to hear people say wow u throw the best parties in NJ. Its an honor to have people that say ur the best at what you do. Well the same thing for Denny. He has worked real hard to get where he is. He is fine with criticism. He knows he isnt the best but at the same point he knows he is damn good at what he does. There wouldnt be a problem if all you did was criticize but Denny's style is known by all and if you dont like it dont go. When I first asked you to come to DEKO I asked you for one favor if you dont have anything good to say then dont say it at all. I take pride as well as Denny does. My Friday party at Joeys is very successful and I hear nothing good about it on the board or nothing bad. I like it that way. I will continue to do my thing as well as will Denny. Denny is a personal friend of mine one that I spend every Sunday with for dinner and the Sopranos. With you starting shit by saying Denny is insecure, which he is not, your opening a can with one of my close friends. So before he even tells me that he doesnt want you there I will tell you first. I thought you were a friend and that you would stop trying to stick the daggar into Denny but it seems like your not ready for that. Well have fun because you can now add DEKO to your I HAVE BEEN BANNED resume. You know I hate doing it but no one person is worth having in a club that is constantly going to bash one of my close friends. Here's your counter post Saleen.

I feel its time I have to reply to this post to defend my staff. It is not that the bartenders are slow it is because our place is just that busy. Our bars are ringing an obscene amount of money enough to make any nightclub owner happy and they are doing in a short window. Nothing against George, but you guys are his customer base and he knows most of you by cp name as well as your real name and he will tend to you guys first. All bartenders are more prone to take care of their customers first. As one person mentioned it might help to get to know your bartenders earlier in the night because then they are more responsive. George is a great bartender one that I have worked side by side with many of years and he will agree that I have some true night club professionals bartending for me. Well let me take this chance to apologize for the time its taking you to get a drink and all I can say this is one of the problems that occurs when a place is so packed with a drinking crowd that comes in to pound in a 2-1/2 to 3 hour window. Just want to know everyone's opinion about dressing up for halloween. I personally dont like even though I have wore some great costumes over the years. I just dont like the whole feeling uncomfortable wearing clothes that I am not used to wearing to clubs. What does everyone think????

I just wanted to know how everyone feels about getting dressed up for Halloween and going to a club. I dont enjoy it at all. Those who know me know I have had some sick costumes some years but it really bothers me when I got to dress up in something that isnt as comfortable as what I am used to wearing every night I am out. WHAT DOES EVERYONE THINK???

I have to say I disagree with everything u guys say about njguido. As a guy that has two very successful parties this winter I look at this website as a great extra to see the beautiful people at this party. Many nightclub websites dont have a pic section and NJguido shows you those pics. Plus these guys on njguido.com are great guys. I have been friends with them a couple years before the site and what they are doing is pretty cool and letting everyone see where people are going this winter as well as how good looking the club crowd is in NJ . Those guys are always welcomed to anything I do from the summer at the SURF to Fridays at Joeys to DEKO Saturdays. Keep up the good work. BTW, I am glad u had such a great time this Saturday.

I am very disappointed with a lot of the reviews from last night. I thought Richie played spectacular. People need to realize the age we are trying to cater too in that place. It is tough when u have people in there over 27 and women that are 21 and men that are 23 that go to every hot spot and know all the new and current tracks. I thought Richie played the perfect combination of those songs. I want you guys all to remember one thing. The biggest night in the summer at Temps other then the holiday weekends is Denny's Retro night. Wonder why??? Reason is cause there is so great tracks out there from 2 to 3 years ago and people just love to hear them. My Saturday party will have those tracks included every week. Remember what the reaction was a few years ago when "I Turn to You"was played well yesterday that reaction was there. As everyone knows my parties (like the SURF) are all about the music and I know what certain spots need to be successful and Richie did a phenomenal job when it came to the music last night. If someone didnt like it then they are really not going to like this party. I want everyone that was there the grand opening when Denny played and remember his song selection. It was all from this same era or older (Deep Chemical and tracks like that). Now about being more guys then girls. For those who dont know it we keep double clickers outside keep tracking of both girls and guys for this problem. For everyones info there were more guys then girls last night approximately 30. Not bad for a club to run almost 50/50 on any given night. Plus the quality of woman at my parties exceed anything that can be imagined. About the wait outside while being on the guest list I apologize for that but I need you to realize one thing., Me, Joe A, Binoy, Willie and Joey Enuff and are friends are to blame for the more guys then girl problem at DEKO. We are all guys and we have guy friends that call us and ask to put us on the list and them knowing how beautiful the woman are at DEKO they decide to come without girls for the possibility of meeting the perfect 10. Well, just to let you guys know I sat down with all promoters before this night started anticipating this problem and told him that guest list or not if this problem ever arose even guest list people will wait. We turned away alot of guys last night and that was because they werent on the guest list and they were in groups of guys with no girls. Be prepared that next we are going to do that same thing with guys on the guest list.

I want to thank everyone for their comments. I will tell you right now my success has alot to do with the quality of people I surround myself with. I work with some of the best in the business, my Joeys party which I am most proud of cause no one said I could make Joeys trendy on Friday, is comprised of a great bartending staff, Murray and Mike Roman at the door plus Adam, Bill who complement what I am trying to do nicely. My Saturday at DEKO party the formula is the same with some of the same bartenders and another great promotional team with Binoy, Armenio, Willie and Joey Enuff. It also helps that the owners gave me such a beautiful room to promote as well as the resources to do it with. So again thanks for the compliments it meant alot to me reading such great reviews. Remember that for every Adam and Bill and Joey Enuff and Company there are alot of people not mentioned that deserve a lot of the credit. Respect them because they are the true workers.

I know you seem to have a problem with getting whacked when I am around (remember the Freestyle party at Bunka). But as I told u before there is nothing wrong with getting a little wasted. Actually I think its time again so I will see u Friday.
