I just want to thank everyone for the great response that I had last night at the SURF. Robbie Rivera, in my opinion, was off the hook. As all of you know I handle all the promotions at the SURF so I will allow everyone to post their own opinion. I think for the week before Labor Day I could have not expected anything more. The place was packed to the gill even more then I expected. Robbie had a great time and has already asked me to promise him that I will be bringing him back again next year. Robbie is by far one of the nicest industry people I have ever met. Not one ounce of conceitness. He loved the fact that the records that he played that went over huge were records that he produced. He is just another DJ in a long list that realized that NJ people in whole know their music. Also, I confirmed Robbies next NJ appearance at Joeys in October. So two more weeks left for this amazing Summer. Lets go out with a bomb. Those who dont know. We have extended the life of the SURF this summer one more week after Labor Day. We are having an official end of summer closing party on Sunday Septemeber 8th. With DJs Richie Santana, Kirk Lopez, Richie Rydell and Denny Tsettos.

I have decided to create a reduced list for this Sunday for Robbie Rivera. As most of you know I like having parties where I offer something special for CP Members. Well here I go again. I will give any person on this board that responds to this post with "I'll be There" reduced admission for Sundays mega night. This list is good for the CP member only. Thank you. Can you say hell yeh. So as it goes its Friday at Joeys for the only 21 and over party in NJ on Friday. And now the all new DEKO Saturdays starting September 14.

Definitely need to meet up. If ur always with Brian I am surprised we have not met yet. I see him every where I am. Whether its Merge, Temps, Surf and Joeys on Fridays in the WInter I am guaranteed to run into him. Well I am glad u enjoy the SURF the way you do. I make it a point, when I can, to go after the unattainable or at least someone that is not playing every where else. I am personal friends with 99% of the djs I book so for me when they play SURF its like I hooked up a friend. Well next time ur out ask Brian who I am and make sure you come up to me and say whats up. I will make sure that round of drinks is on Brian. He owes me a few by now. hahahahaha.

Just in case people are waiting for my comment. I dont have one. The proof is in the product. As all of you know Kirk and I are like peanut butter and jelly. We do alot of great things together and Kirk can have his opinion just like everyone on the board. As I have said before yes there will be alot of the same customers between both spots and that is definite when there are two clubs 5 minutes apart from each other. But I feel there is enough for everyone. We all know the same people and there will be times where a person will go to Bunka and there will be times when that same person will go to DEKO. Our biggest competitor in Sayreville is the 2 oclock closing as well as NYC. If both clubs show their customers a great product maybe we can overcome the 2 am thing as well as NYC. BTW, Richie Rydell will be at DEKO. Date already confirmed.

Incorrect. Bunka is not opening on time. Though I am running the party at DEKO I like to tell things as it is when it comes to any club including one I am involved in. Bunka is not opening til October 5th. BTW, I think both parties are going to do good.
