you know what, THIS CLUBPLANET BOARD IS REALLY A PEACE OF SHIT!!! i log in and it tells me i'm not logged in, i log in again and click on e-mail and it tells me i'm not logged in. so i log in a third time and it won't give me access to the e-mail folder! a "page cannot be found" message keeps coming up! there people at clubplanet need to sort their shit out! i'm getting real sick of these problems!! just send the e-mail to my hotmail account! at least that works like it's supposed to (most of the time anyways). cream11@hotmail.com
  3. i must agree with you 2! this cd is fucking wicked!! it's also #1 on my list! nice, smooth and in places chilled & funcky tech-house at it's best! nice one craig!! i'm not much for abstract hip hop so i'm not really looking forward to lavelle's mix much BUT i am REALLY looking forward to jan. 2002 and terry francis's mix!! now that will be good!!

three will be spinning at the sept.11th beniffit in downtown fort lauderdale tonight. the beniffit starts at 8pm and goes til 4am and is being held at all the clubs in the downtown area as well as in tents in the streets and at the saint which is off of state rd. 84. there is a band you must buy for $10 that will get you into ALL the clubs and events. you buy this band at the chili pepper. from what james told me, three will be playing at sutra but he didn't tell me what time he plays at. from what i've heard there will be time slots/ dj locations posted or given out so we'll know exactly where everyone will be and what time they'll be on. i'll beleave that when i see it though!
  6. i'm glad the general outlook on liquid is a positive one. south florida needs some positive, music loving, venues and nights on a consistant basis and this is going to be the start of on of them!kinks or no kinks it's about the music and i know drew and kris LOVE the music so this promises to be a good thing!! i will be in attendance next thursday for the grand openning of drew's "chemical" night. i'm very excited! hope to see you all there!! for guestlist on thursdays @ liquid please contact me at cream11@hotmail.com
  7. no worries mate! if you want in on the suprises then drop me an e-mail. they start on nov.8th, 2001 which is next week so hurry!!
  8. to answer some of your questions, drew was one of 3 people (along with bruce wilcox & scott lawrence i beleave) behind the "lolly pop guild" who threw wicked partys at the edge in ft. lauderdale back in the day. now drew is a dj/producer and a wicked one at that! i've heard a couple of his tracks and let me tell you, THEY ROCK!! as for his djing skills, i must admit that i've never heard him spin but i'm sure he's good! it's hard to pigon hole his style as far as production goes but i'd say it's closest to a progressive/tech-house style. i'm guessing his djing style is the same. as for the club, i was there last night and i thought they did a good job with it. the dj both is no longer in the rafters and from what i was told there will be plenty of couches for everyone to sit on and the only "VIP" areas is the place are upstairs and back in that little room/elcove just before the bathrooms on the right. the music policy sounds wicked! on thursdays and saturdays they feat. progressive, tech-house & techno and from what i understand wednsdays & fridays they are feat. hip hop & old school. there will be a casual dress code, meaning t-shirts, jeans and trainers will be allowed as long as they are in good repair. cover charges will be minimal ($15 to $20) from what i've been told. i am promoting their thursday night "chemical" party and have a few wicked little surprises up my sleeve for you lot...if you want more info. on these surprises then drop me an e-mail at cream11@hotmail.com and i'll let you know what i've got for you. i'll also be posting upfront line-up info. for thursdays on here as i'm sure kris will be to. so stay tuned for some wicked nights out in the fashion of the old groovejet nights! see ya there!!

  10. cheers for that mate! i'll def. be tuning in!
  11. upon ferther review after one listen each, the nick warren disc is also very good although i like the howells disc better. it's a bit less obvious (SP?).
  12. "Tune in between 6pm/9.00pm" is this UK time or US time? i live in the US so i need to know so i don't miss it! i listen to colin dales "abstract dance show every week so i'll def. want to tune in for this! cheers!
  13. you want quality house? here are a few suggestions get soma records SLAM to play. they are dark, techy twisted house and they are fucking amazing! TERRY FRANCIS is another one! he tord up the red room at jon cowan's thanksgiving party last year with his deep, tech-house sound a tyrant night with BOTH CRAIG RICHARDS AND LEE BURRIDGE would be insain! lee's NuBreed is great and craig's fabric 1 cd is amazing! deep twisted tech-house and progressive from these 2! i'd also like to see MR.C & LAYO & BUSHWACKA! AKA THE END SOUNDSYSTEM play there!! their deep, tech-house and breakbeat sounds would fit perfect in space! CASS would also be another brillant move! he plays some of the darkest, evilest progressive and breakbeats that i've ever heard! his prolouge cd is tied with craig richerds fabric 1 cd for my compilation of the year! cass's sound would be just as good as tenaglia's on the space sound system! on the patio i'd like to see some deep house by the likes of JAY HANNAN & BEN WATTS (of everything but the girl fame) AKA LAZY DOGS, MIGUEL MIGS, RASOUL and the rest of the NAKED MUSIC crew, JULIUS PAPP etc... if i think of anymore i'll let you know...
  14. danny howeels mix is really good!! haven't had a chance to listen to nick warrens yet hopefully it'll be like his most recent essential mix! that fucking rocked!
  15. we'll i hate to be the one to brake it to you people but you might not have a choice. if miami clubs decide to frisk then you'll just have to suck up you petty diagrements with it and deal! this is the problem this country has always had! the "it's not going to happen to us" attitude! well i got news for you, we're not as high and mighty as some of you may think we are and the malls & clubs are a perfect place for " crazed fundamentalists " to hit! loads of people and little security. so any trivial inconvenances frisking may cause you are much needed to try and maintain our saftey and are for the better good of the nation in general!! as for the females doing the frisking, i think i might rather enjoy that
  16. LMAO @ shroomy!! if mimi wants to "frisk" me i'll be more then happy to let her...for safetys sake and i'll even give her $2!!
  17. i agree whole heartedly with what james has said! in this time of constant danger we need to be as careful as we can, esspecially when gathering in large crowds! those are the places we are most vulnerable(SP?). if it takes a little longer to get in a club, so be it! i'd rather get in and feel safe then get in and look over my shoulder at everyone, not knowing weather they might have a bomb or a gun or some sort of gas. "if someone is determined enough, they will eventually, evade any security structure; regardless of its complexity. " sobeton, in some cases your statement might be right but in this case you're way off base. if there is only one way into a club such as at crobar, and everyone is serched upon entery, then nothing sort of bum rushing the door will allow these people to get in. things like bombs & guns and containers of gas are not easily hidden. if someone had one or all of the above on their person then a pat down and bag serch would expose it!! this NEEDS to be done at ALL clubs!
  18. yeah, i see your point about that night...oct.6th is 3 days after my b-day!! that should be a nice treat! hope you guys are bringing someone special!!
  19. the venue woundn't happen to be stereo would it?? or maybe sutra?? as for orlando, there have a huge house sence! three, terry lee brown jr., huggy and a bunch of others frequent up there plenty!! good luck! if you book lazy dogz, rasoul, miguel migs or any of the other i mentioned before i'll def. make it up there!! but til then i guess i'll have to wait til the ft. lauderdale thing starts. when are you planning on starting that anyway?
  20. i've met you before vaughan....i used to come to all your pool side partys on sundays at atlantis in fort lauderdale. we've talked before. i also know sheldon. glad to see you guy have found something to replace atlantis! nice to see some deep house nights cropping up! i just with it wasn't so far north!! i don't have a car so it's going to be really hard for me to get up there.
  21. hey mimid, james pointed you out to me at space on sat. night but you vanished before i had a chance to say hello... guess i'll have to keep an eye out for you in nov.
  22. yeah, i'm a huge deep house fan and would love to see some or all of the above again! especially lasy dogz since they skipped us on their last US tour!

whats the dress code and door like at this place? i know it's new, but i haven't had a chance to go there yet...is it nice? how's the sound system? as for paying $40...thats alot but orbital doesn't come to the states alot so it's worth it! i saw the orb for free back in 97 at club k's and they were fucking brillant! the best live PA i've ever seen!! now all i need to see is FSOL!
  24. marick
