All I can say.. is ............. I danced all night long.. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being highest) Track selection : 9 Technical Skill : 8 Attention to crowd : 9 Personality : 10

Word on the industry tip is that they're prob. gonna MAP !$1,200.oo (each).... I still have troble using CDJ-1000's but things are definately changing.... Hell I never thought I'd ever go Digital... and here I am working on FinalScratch..

For the past two years I've played more down there, than HERE 4 Several reasons I won't vent about it here & now (that's another thread)... But I have had more fun in South & Central America than anywhere else in the world.. (And I've played everywhere but Africa & Russia)... I feel the scene down there is still growing with STRONG roots to the underground... (unlike Europe & US, where shit has been flooded so bad there is little to no underground scene.. it got pushed above ground when Trance became mainstream)... In Mexico for example there are some really cool clubs like Rioma & Colmillio (one private the other public) both really underground scenes... Peru surprised the hell out of me... I played for 4 hours and the entire room of 1,300 people could not stand still (the WHOLE DAMN NIGHT)... Brasil, Columbia, etc.. and the list goes on... How I got booked.... Networking!!! I was able to make a few freinds in each country that either promote / DJ / or work somehow with the club scene.. I also have spent many hours on messageboards (like this one) for other regions (OZ & Europe has the best on-line scene)... Honestly, I think I was able to acomplish this because I don't charge OUTRAGEOUS booking fees, and I have little to no EGO that gets in the way... (but that same lack of EGO has kept me completely underground in my own state)....... and last but not least... the biggest reason I was able to play there is the good old "IMPORT THEORY" ..... NO ONE WANTS A LOCAL DJ... YOU HAVE TO BE FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BE GOOD

Well the peak time (to catch people dancing) is usually between 12 & 2am.... I'll admit we do need more lighting (that's why on my night, I bring in additional lighting AND sound)...... So far the responce has been good and growing... the past three weeks have bee far better than the first two.. and I expect it to get better... I'm talking to the owner about doing something a little different to his place..... I really have to thank Craig for a Surprising Set.... man I was totally caught off guard.... AWESOME... You gotta come back SOON!!!! And MENG... I told you we represent ALL house Prog. & Tribal are always welcome... next time you have to play longer... The whole concept of Mi Casa is that we celebrate ALL HOUSE music... we start DEEP & SOULFUL, then we go a little LATIN & FUNKIER, then we get HARD & DIRTY... ending up PROG. & TRIBAL. This weekend its back to square one (FHA = Florida Housing Authority) with a new member... DJ Aladdin (from San Fran has joined FHA).. Along with Myself and Laurent C a.k.a. DJ Frenchy ( cuz hes from France )

I usually bring records Just Incase someome can't make it.... bUT I started this night for the house scene (for all of the crews that were NOT working together on a regular basis).. Sometimes I open or close the night but usually I only spin once a month,.. to let the other DJs have their time

Hey I did say it was a live mix ! So don't expect perfection I'm sure you noticed the two obvious flaws... (one was a bathroom run the other was a photo request that got outta hand in the DJ booth) other than that I'm pleased with the mix... Glad you enjoyed it... FYI th only reason elements ended up in there was, two songs right after the PQM remix of I'll be your friend... someone asked me to play elements... (and of course they kept coming back until I played it because I said I had it..... Trainspotters!
