This brings my memory to a friend I had a while back. The guy told me that he would never, ever mess around with a friend’s girl (not ex), not even if “she’d spread her legs and jump on him”. 6 months later he started going out with his buddy’s girl who left her bf for this guy… The circumstances were that this girl was being mistreated by her man and my friend had real feelings for her. If the police will take a serious approach to this legislation, they'll enforce it just like everything else gets enforced -- through fines. I kinda look forward to this day, getting tired of watery eyes and a headache the following morning after a long night of clubbing.

Try drinking lots of water. Not quite sure what does the trick, but it keeps you alert, more so than coffee (in my experience).

Centro on saturdays is good, overall. The joint consistently gets good talent, and I've noticed how people with diverse tastes in music all enjoy the vibe. The crowd is not bad & you don't have to roll in at 5 a.m. to hear good beats.

In my experience, the ideal way to meet someone is through friends. Be it a party or another form of social gathering, you're running a higher chance of hitting it off with a ‘normal’ girl, vs. a complete stranger at a bar/club.

I thought I wasn't the only one who thought he was nothing special that night. You'd think he could at least pull some tricks at NYE party. My girl thought his set in early December (regular night) topped this one. Long clearly doesn't equate good.

SF had good music (not great), and a descent crack head crowd. My mistake was getting their at 2 am (the house party I went to just wasn't doing it for me) and leaving around 9. I thought JP's music had too many gaps where you'd have a sick track followed by 2 or 3 average tunes, not enough to keep me going after 7 hours of exposure to the music... I was a bit thrown back by the crowd's reaction to Madonna's "Life is a mystery", where the entire crowd went nutz. All in all, good night despite bad timing.

SF sounds good and all, but what if you want to be able to chill at a place where you can hear each other talk prior to going dancing... Maybe even some appetizers/snacks too, which is something that a lot of clubs lack. So, do any of you have a venue in mind that offers food & good music at a reasonable price? TIA
