Try the Old Town Bar on 18th street. The service blows but the food is decent and relatively cheap.

As for death penalty I am 100% against it for a lot of reasons but here are a few: First off - no one can ever be proven 100% guilty - there will always be some possibility, no matter how small, that this person didn't do it. If you watch the news lately there were a small bunch of people on death row recently let free because dna testing proved they were innocent all along. Secondly, I don't think you could ever say that someone will have no value to society ever again. You never know, some guy in prison for life might take up studying quantum physics or something and come up with a new theory or idea that proves beneficial. One example is that one of the guys that wrote the first Websters dictionary was locked up in an insane asylum. Just my two cents...

lets just hope all the conservatives out there who seem to want to have so much say in other peoples lives don't push to make it illegal - i.e. lets hope Bush doesn't get elected.

Yeah we used the spoon and the sugar cube like good ol' Ernest Hemmingway. I went through four or five shots worth in a sitting -from what I've read three is usually enough but I'm on the big end of the scale so a little more worked better for me. The taste isn't bad at all - kinda like an anisette flavored whiskey.

moonshine? You can make a pseudo-absinthe by distilling wormwood but it's definitely not the best thing for you health wise.

Morphine is ULTRA addictive. It's in the same family as heroine and supposedly just as hard to shake once you've gone over the edge. Of course once or twice won't hurt anyone - just be careful.

I've tried the stuff from the Czech Republic and it's viscious - ultra rough going down. Try some other brands - the ones from Spain are my personal favorite - they're a lot smoother. Did you do the shots straight or go therough the whole sugar cube/water ritual?

A had a couple of bottles imported from overseas. Mary Mayans and Swiss Le Bleue. If they were the watered down version I don't think I could handle the real thing. We were feeling pretty good after a couple of shots but then we smoked a little and everything went crazy. It was like an acid "buzz" without the tripping aspect of it all mixed with a generous portion of paranoia and stoned out happiness.
