I have not turned on Zeta in years. It's all about who you know...... I hung out with Ken Jordan in LA last week and he invited me. At first I thought it was a regular event at some place on the beach. Then when I got the directions, I felt like I was being put on the hunt to find an old school rave. There was never any mention of the venue, an address.

Not bad at all. About 150 people there, it took place in the Clear Channel building. Nice set up, and Ken and Scot are two crazy guys for sure. They played a lot of new stuff that I was not too familiar with, however I think the last time I saw them perform was in 98 @ the theater, So I guess they have changed their style dramatically, but they put on a good show, and I was definitely surrounded by the candy raver crowd. But what ever, got to hang out with them for a few minutes after the show. Only draw back was no alcohol.

Met the two of them at the NAMM show last week and they said they have a gig down here on the 21st. They just did not know where they were playing. Anyone have any info?

Yes but if they are going to have a block party in downtown, the will run into the same problems that cause the issue at bayfront

OK Pod, then where? Beach is not happening. If bayfront is out there are few options. I love Ultra, and that mainstage for the past couple of years is something that is hard to recreate. If it is going to be near Sobe, the last option is the convention center..... no way. I'm interested to see what is in store this year. The venue will make or break the party for sure.

My vote for the best venue if it cannot be held @ Bayfront is Joe Robbie stadium. Was there for the game Monday night and was just imagining what could be done with the place. A massive main stage inside the stadium with the crowd filling up the field and part of the stadium. Then part of the lot could be used for the other stages and the rest could be for parking. Plenty of room, plenty of parking. The only draw back is that it is a long drive from Sobe. I certainly will not be looking forward to driving such a distance in the middle of WMC. Keeping my fingers crossed for bayfront.

A friend of mine told me he was going to SF @ 9 a.m. this past weekend. He text me @ 5 p.m. and said he was in the booth with JP watching him kiss the lighting guy, and that he did not want to leave the booth because the place was too packed. He left @ 10 p.m. sunday night. 34 never stays open that late on a sunday or stay that packed. NYC really does have the true crackheads lol And I think JP is their leader

My guess is DT will come on around 3 instead of 2. No way is he going on the air. Morillo didn't come on till 2.45 last week.

Probably more financial. They offered him $25,000 to play at Arc and he refused. But then again, he didn't even show for the conference.

Got to Space around 1:30, after listening to a kick ass set by roland on the way down there I was psyched to get inside. Caught the end of Rolands set and then Ferry came on. Started out pumping, but then became very repative and lame. I am trance fan, but this shit was just plain cheese. Could not feel it at all. Stayed until like 3;15 and headed over to NV for Saeed and Palash, much better crowd and room to dance and breath. NV is a nice club but the sound system sucks!. Anyway, the crowd at space ruined my night, way tooo crowded, but that's to be expected on a holiday weekend.
