The GBH parties are over the top craziness. Decadent fun. Do yourself a favour and go once. Get there early, stay late. It really is a good time. Don't mistake the mindless self indulgence for insincerity.
Hi, I need the help of someone who is fluent in both Spanish and English. We need a translation for the instruction manual for our newest product. All I can really offer is a free sample when we go into production. It's a pretty short translation. Post here if you're interested. thanks d
Dude, that record is retired until I get to play the Y2K room. Trust me though, imagine the satisfaction we'd both have. Of course, if I don't make the list, I will do a specail dedication just to you first chance I get.
Was working on my set last night, and this months theme... RETRO 80's that's right kiddies, I'll even offer a free drink to anyone who can trainspot all the oldies. tee-hee
how about we optimize spoonyd kicking your ass with his bangin techno jointz on the slammin system at Twirl! This party is gonna be off da HOOK! It's gonna blow up Twirl like nevah before. damn p00hsey
don't worry about the subs, i think i'm going to play my "Tweeky" set and throw earplugs out to the cheering ear-bleeding crowd like they were candy. Gonna open with Paul Johnson's "Noise" and tweek it out from there. Maybe drop come chicago steez for good measure.
I'd accept that if I knew that it was going to be taken care of properly, ie. destroyed or given to the police to destroy. But we all know it was just handed over to the house dealer for re-sale, or divided up amongst the staff. That's what the real problem is if you ask me.
I'm at the Leopard Lounge mostly. Come by tomorrow night - I'm on at 1am till close. There'll be a whole crowd of us chilling and recovering from tonight.
I lived on the buffalo crag for two summers. Great climbing all through rattlesnake. We were pretty lucky. heh - I played my first gig out EVER at the comfort zone. never pulled afterhours there. Toronto afterhours is way too dirty for my taste.
drfunk come on out. I actually moved here from Toronto 1 yr ago. I used to climb at rockheads and climbing acadamy a lot. drop me an e-mail: spoonyd@leisuresociety.com
