  1. I thought that there weren't going to be any promoters for Junior!?!? According to an email that I received shortly after his birthday gig, the only list that will be available for Sat. night is Junior's list. Hmm.......
  2. OK-ENOUGH!!!!!!!! First......maybe this needs to get moved to the drama board....second....WE ALL KNOW THAT JUNIOR IS GAY but, the reality of the situation is that David is going to need more than just the GAY crowd to make this party a success. Exit is a huge venue (as we all know) and to make $$$ he will need new AND OLD promoters. SECOND-WHO CARES IF THE CROWD IS GAY OR STRAIGHT???? Just because it's a straight crowd is doesn't mean that someone who is GAY can't go and VICE VERSA. NYC nightlife is in enough trouble without nonsense like this taking place...... I love Junior regardless of the fact that I am not gay--does this mean that I can't go to Earth to hear him spin? C'mon people......it's all about the MUSIC!!!!!!!
  3. Yoga is a great workout and you will be just as sore as you would be from weights. Bikram yoga is a good place to try it out....for $16.00 you get the 1st session and the 2nd session for free. But-the room is kept at about 95 degrees so wear VERY light clothing. The moist heat helps you stretch better. Good luck!
  4. More than 4,000 people traveled from as far as Japan, Israel and Ecuador to sway to trance music at a farm about 30 miles north of Lusaka during a 10-day eclipse rave.
  5. Yup-Hum Day it is.....and what better way to celebrate it then a company sponsored event at a local nightclub featuring Smirnoff and a DJ....ahhh....life is good!!!!
  6. You can get Xenadrine RFA-1 at any health food store.....keep in mind that the key ingredients in this are the same as Stacker. My suggestion to you is just to eat a little less and exercise more. It may take a little longer to take off a few lbs. but it will stay off. I started a serious weightlifting/cardio program in March of 2000....I didn't lose any weight at all until September of last year and since November I have lost 23 lbs. I'm eating healthier but not starving myself. Have a goal in mind before you start (mine is to run a 1/2 marathon on July - I've been running a 5k or 10k once a week for the past 2 months. If you have a goal it gives you something to work towards! Good Luck!
  7. Hi Hugh! Glad to hear that you are still alive out there..... I didn't realize that you were looking for a new job - Good Luck....maybe you will end up back in NYC?
  8. Well, there is always the option of getting an extension. You can do it over the phone....it's done automatically if you call the IRS.....they won't say no as long as you call. Hope this helps!
  9. Uhm...I think it's both
  10. I can tell you where NOT to go....tried TRUE last Friday night and it was Goth....I think that someone from this board is spinning at Leopard Lounge on Sat. night...
  11. I'm not sure what night I went (I think that is was a Friday) but there was a much older crowd and not much of a vibe....hope this helps.
  12. Sorry guys-I'm not sure what the deal is...I just couldn't believe that I saw this ad in the back of a magazine!
