When reviewing the abilities and talents of a club in a scene such as New York, you really need to know something about music. Using the terms, top-rated DJ's and then not listing names we all know proves ignorance. When referring to Centro, you would mention Timo Mass and Deep Dish. As far as the rest of the items mentions, it most definately does not give a detailed explanation of the scene. Even the review of his favorite club is weak. I could do a better review of SF and Ive only been there once.... However, everyone is entitled to post what they want and how they want, criticism is to be expected......

I was on the stage most of the night, however, I didnt meet either of you. We had at least 10-15 heads in the area. The ccd list didnt exist when I was there but I had hedged with the vip dudes to make sure I wasnt left out to dry. The place needs better sound, needs to kill the dress code...change it to 18+, get some djs and get some real promoters. Fridays need a new club and they should be trying to take the party kid element that Twilo had.

These kind of topics are beat to death. If you are into the "true" underground and listen to Djs such as Sasha-n-DIgweed, DT, DH, GUy Ornadel, PVD, Lawler, etc (Bascially any Twilo/Vinyl resident) then you will hate Webster Hall. Everyone is entitled to what they like, I hate certain clubs yet they are packed every weekend. People dislike where I go,yet where i go is also packed every weekend. General opinion isnt really general......certain people lke certain music who then like certain clubs. GO for yourself, make your own judgement......Have your own opinion and stand by it. Fuck what everyone else says. As for WH, its touristy, cheesy and lame in my opinion. However, I have a cousin who oves going there for the mid floor which plays everything from 80's to alternative. I re-iterate, dont worry bout what a music snob like me says, or what a half drunk "Its off the hook" says. Make your own choice, decision and be happy......

Nope. Most of it is amusing. The peeps with the biggest mouths, many times dont even show. been around since the meetups got big end of 2000. Course, then there are a few people who still keep grudges over posts....which is amusing since they are the same ones who say "Its just a board" when they act silly.
