  1. Hi dreamdrops, you got that pick from Nathalie (aka tatgirl), right? Did you get the entire web-album? If so, just wanted to say hi! I'm the girl in the cream colored thermal with rouched sleeves. We (boyfriend -- in the gray lithium gear with spikey hair -- and I) came in from Pittsburgh that night. HUGE Mauro fans!
  2. where's spundae-chicago located?
  3. Yes! Yes! Yes! Please do us the favor of bringing Spundae to the east! I'm originally from L.A. and REALLY, REALLY, REALLY miss west coast clubs. Even though I'm tentatively in PA driving to Chicago beats driving to Cali for a w/e! Spundae's awsome!!!
  4. I'm from L.A. but seldom post here since I moved to PA for school. So now I'm all over the board including, NYC, DC, Philly, etc., depending on where the dj takes me. Coming home in August, yay!!!!
  5. MP's set was definitely full of energy, however I just couldn't get into it. Oh well, hopefully next time around I'll feel differently. Until then...
  6. I figured since I was in DC it would be appropriate to wear -- JK. Wearing that shirt, or those pins, I should say, wasn't about anything. I never noticed that one pin looked like the Russian Federation flag, but now that you mention it I guess it does resemble it. Good eye! If ya'll got beef with the outfit, take it up with the designer!
  7. Yes, I agree! His set did start off a bit boring, but I eventually got into the groove of things towards the end. I didn't enjoy his set as much as I did when he was in L.A. last year, but nonetheless I had a good time just being there with a good group of people! I would of enjoyed it more if the bass and trebble weren't turned up full-blast. My ears rang for an entire day. I brought my ear plugs with me, but forgot it at the hotel!!! BIG MISTAKE. To all of you who don't know me, I was the girl wearing the cream colored thermal shirt with rouched chiffon sleeves, with medals pinned on -- not that you were on the look-out for me. Sia, it was nice to finally meet you, even though we didn't get a chance to hang-out. Maybe next time we're in DC it'll be less complicated to meet-up. C
  8. I'll be at glow this Saturday as well, which will make it only my 2nd time, however, I can offer you my experience. The dress code seems to be ambigous, since it's not clear whether or not tennies shoes and casual wear is allowed. My first experience at Glow was this: Guys could not wear baggy clothes, this included cargo like pants (e.g. lithium gear, addidas, etc), or tennies. As for girls, it didn't seem like the bouncers cared as long as they thought we were made up in some way (e.g. make-up and/or clothing). Sorry, but it's the truth. With that said, I've recently been informed that tennies and jeans are OK. Here's a piece of advice a friend gave to my bf: Bring an extra shirt, pair of non-denim pants, and nice shoes just incase. I remember the drinks ran about $10 for top-shelf, for example, Belvedere; liquor, such as Absolute, Bombay, Segrams, etc, will probably cost $9 with a mixer; and well-drinks cost about $7-8.
  9. Well, some of us don't have all day to spend on the internet...
  10. Okay, just saw the video. That was sweet! LOVE that dude, haha! I swear that hamburger/hot-dog stand looks familiar...looks like L.A. It looks similar to a location where we shot a pilot a few years ago. Dave, thx for the link.
  11. I know! I love that commercial. I thought the song was good, too. Her moves were sweet!
  12. nice. i can't wait to see them next week! nice pix btw.
  13. Speaking of pleasure, I'll be catching him next thursday!!!
  14. lol, i don't know you guys, but for some reason that sounded pretty funny.
  15. lol, when i received a reply from Kuro on one of my posts, I freaked when the first thing i saw was that sig! not b/c it was two girls kissing, but because i was in the middle of the campus computer lab during peak hours and was afraid somone was going to look over and think i was some pervert! hehe, but should i really care what people think? no. easier said than done sometimes.
  16. satoshi's sweet! good pix! too bad sasha looks so down...what's up w/ that???
  17. FYI: http://www.RadicalPlanet.com Found some pretty good stuff!
  18. they're going to be in Pitt on 4/11 @ M...
  19. Thx everyone! Keep 'em coming...
  20. I hope you guys enjoyed Sat. night! I'm looking forward to catching them in April @ M. Just wanted to know what they were like this time? Thx! ~surreal~
  21. I don't know if PvD didn't line SF, but I wouldn't be surprised if the rumor were true. I didn't like SF -- I'm usually pretty tolerant of most places, but this one takes the cake! PvD's set made it worth tolerating, though. However, I highly doubt I'll be going back. Even if MP were spining!. Tick, tick, tick...counting down the days 'til May 18th, hehehe... btw, Chyna, just curious who you heard the rumor from?
  22. Kuro -- yes, it's Mauro Picotto (if you couldn't already tell by now ) i'm really looking forward to it! btw, PvD was off the hook @ Sound Factory!!!
  23. dialectics: you just told the story of our night! that was my first time in NYC, hence my first clubbing experience at SF, which was awsome due to PvD. Unfortunately, we will never return to SF since the atmosphere was very undesireable, although, the music definitely made up for it. I just wish there was more ventilation in that place. I was really glad the line moved so quickly -- considering we were half-way down 47th -- but soon found out why when we stepped foot in the club. however, it was an experience and i'm glad we went. Next: S&D April 11th @ M, Pittsburgh and Mauro Picotto May 18th @ Glow, D.C. ~surreal~
