Well, if that isnt a stereotype, I dont know what is- This topic reeks of ignorance. Do you even know anyone who uses drugs? Or are you making this assumption on what you have seen in TV and movies? Although it is sad to say, most of the people that use drugs this day in age are professional, educated people. Do people taking drugs ever hurt you? Do you feel that strongly that you feel we should all be "put away"? Who are you to attack an entire society of people who simply want to have a good time? If using drugs is not for you, than this is your opinion, that is fine, and others will respect that. However, you should respect the fact that a lot of people like to use. Keep your damn ignorant assumptions to yourself.

First of all, what the hell else is there to do on Thursday night? I "get out" all over this damn state, and Joeys is the best you're going to get on a Thursday night. Secondly, you may want to think about stating "your opinion" in a less pretentious matter. If you don't like Joeys, then why the hell are you reading a thread about nightclubs in Clifton? Anyway, back on the topic, Joeys is fun on Thursday night. The place is always packed and the music is decent. I would, however, advise you to stay away from Boom because it sucks. It is VERY small and the crowd leaves much to be desired.

There was a sign in my gym about a tanning salon (I think it is called Ultra Tan Spa or something like that). They claim that you can tan for $5 and students can tan for $3. It is in Roseland on Eagle Rock Ave in Roseland Plaza. now, I've never been there before, so Im not endorsing it, but that is the cheapest tan I know of around here. Has anyone been there? Also, I used to go to Solar Class as well, isn't it only $7 a tan?

I detect a bit of sarcasm from this thread, but all the same, if you are smoking crack, bronchitis is not your biggest problem...

.........if it is in fact a good DJ. I think it is misunderstood here. When I am at a good club with a good DJ, I would not even think to make a request. The type of requests that I am talking about are when you are at a smaller club (ex. clubs in NJ). I think it is okay to make a request then.

I think that is ridiculous. If you are paying money to get into a club, you should be able to request a song, and the DJ should respect your request.

I think both situations have there benefits and drawbacks. I recently ended a relatinship and was very excited about getting back into the game. When I was with my boyfriend this summer, I would go out with him and all my friends to clubs, and feel jealous of my single friends who were meeting new people and having a blast. Granted, I had fun with my boyfriend, but I missed the single life. However, now that I am single again, I miss having the companionship. I think what I am looking for right now is a casual relationship, dating different people here and there, and not getting serious, but that never seems to work out. I guess you cant have the best of both worlds!

That place is about as big as my bedroom, and the crowd is a bunch of highschoolers! I give that place another month before they shut it down.

Hey, I dont go out a lot around here on the weekends usually, but this weekend, I have a bunch of friends coming up so we are going to stay local. My question is, where should we go? I dont want to drive all the way to Abyss or anything, and dont feel like going to Hoboken. How is Metro on Saturday? How about Joeys? Also, has anyone heard anything about or been to that place Luna (sp?) Lounge on RT 46? Is that place any good? Thanks in advance!

I've hidden my k-usage from people a couple of times, as long as you're nt incredibly fucked up off of it (like when you can't move) you should be fine. E is real easy to hide as well...if I'm real fucked up, I just tell my friends I'm drunk. (They usually dont question the fact that they havent seen me with a drink in my hand the entire night.)

Dont do it!!!! I went to school in Maryland and granted, DC is a good time, but it does not even come close to NYC. You would probably find yourself driving 4 hours each weekend to go back to NYC.
