Thank you soooo much for the support. The crowd was amazing. We did about 215 people last evening and every last one of them was great. I don't think people knew most of the tracks but they seemed to relate, because it is all about the music. Cody I will be there. As far as the Platinum 21+ thing is concerned, we all agree that 18 for girls would be lovely, but the town puts too much pressure on the club. The owner does not want to deal with the added pressure from the town at this stage in the game which is understandable. We all know how New Brunz is.... ***JM***

I think the NYC scene is suffering a bit, not only from the terrible event that occured, but from a taste of monotony. A good portion of the promoters are afraid to take a chance on different types of music. Vinyl is amazing because is is constantly breaking new ground with fresh talent, UK or otherwise. Filter 14 has been rocking also for the same reason. Well IMO, anyway. ***JM***

Thanks for the recoginition. I agree, this site has def. helped getting the word out for local parties. As a DJ it has also afforded me the opportunity to recieve constructive critism about the music and the night itself. For someone who DOESNT play commercial music, it sometimes proves difficult to get a crowd in the door initially, after they get there the music speaks for its self. Secondly, some of the "promo" posts have reached some of the CP regulars who, in turn, came out to the night. Now, the night is not the same without them....YOU all know who you are! I do agree that constant promotional garbage is a pain, but is it that difficult to ignore it? The promotional forum does tend to get mixed up w/all the other parties other than local(NB, Jersey) parties. I would def agree w/Crusyn, maybe a clearer heading is in order. ****JM****

But, if you like the deeper stuff similar to Danny and Digweed, stop down Monday night in New Brunswick...The party is called GREY, at Gaebels on church street. Right now is a little tough with finals and all, but the crowd is great and you def. will not hear ANY commercial music. If you make it, stop by the tables and say hello.
