I personally wanted to thank everyone for the support on Tuesdays, you guys have all been fabulous!! The party is changing venues. I will not be spinning at Platinum anymore, I will keep you all posted on when the party will resume elsewhere and where it will be...there are a couple of things that need to be worked out before any deals are finalized with the new place. As far as platinum is concerned, they are looking to bring a more commercial sound to the Tuesday night. I don't know who the new Dj/promotion team is but, best of luck to them. Sat. Feb. 9th, I will be closing the main floor at China Club (NY), if anyone wants to go and needs more info about guestlists and things let me know! *****JM******

Carbon copy? Well it is a club so I see the similarities. Have you ever ventured there on a tues. night? I do not play anything, well 99.99%, that you would hear in Bunka or Abyss. Some people think that is refreshing orthers just want to hear Stranger in My House. If you want different, you need to be receptive to different music, diversify your music. I am not trying to promote the night or take anything away from any other night at any other club, I am just merely suggesting that there is a different music/vibe out there you just need to look for it. I encourage everyone to go for the music first and the asthetics second. (case in point:Vinyl, R.I.P TWILO) IMO> **JM**

Muffled speakers??? Well, if it is because your ears didn't bleed by the end of the night, I can live with that. I don't spin with the highs and mids overly loud. I try to keep the bass pumping and the highs/mids tolerable but crisp. As far as the place bing empty, we did approx. 150. but the room is fairly large so it appears to be less. Next Tues promises to be a much better turnout. There will be no opening Dj so the beats will be a bit harder by 11 or so.
