  1. Definitely Sasha for me, the thing is I see them more often seperately over here and on those nights when sasha is doing his own thing no-one can come close. I would rank 1 sasha 2 lawler 3 digweed 4 parks and wilson (can't get enough of them) 5 danny t
  2. I do think you need help, I have to walk out of the room everytime that tune comes on, it mings! Matt
  3. rui da silva is awesome I can't believe it is going to be number 1 in the UK national charts when they come out tomorrow. I hope mr lawler played man with the red face as well because that is a classic!
  4. this is stoneproof - everythings not you (VC records UK) stoneproof is john graham aka quivver. Matt
  5. if any of you have any doubts at all about going to this change them now, lawler was absolutely totally fantastic on new years eve at home do not miss! (i bet quivver doesn't disappoint either!) matt
  6. residents at fabric are craig richards and terry francis although once a month is tyrant where of course mr sasha is resident! matt roby i hope you checked out bedrock loast thursday it is the best atmosphere in london
  7. yup the dancefloor is basically a moving part for the 8 foot sub woofer (or something like that) but in my opinion the sound system at home "sounds" better but you don't move or feel it like you do at fabric. matt
  8. i wuz there, very cool night indeed! matt
  9. My schedule is as follows for next week thursday- webster hall friday- exit then twilo saturday- tunnel does anyone have any better suggestions than this? we are only over for a few days and my friend is only 20 so obvs that limits where we can go, twilo is obviously a must and i get the impression that exit is shit but worth going to just to see it! Matt
  10. I will be there, listen out for me whooping! matt whooop whoop
  11. who is at vinyl on wednesdays? does the club have a website? Matt
  12. One week today me and a friend will be on a flight to NYC from london, we are planning to do twilo on friday and probs tunnel on saturday (my friend is 20) any ideas for wednesday and thursday (we are both straight) Matt
  13. the word progressive is practically defined by what sasha is playing, the most upfront and new sounding tunes, always deep dark and meaningful. Whether it be (progressive) trance, breaks or whatever. Scott Bond plays trance of the none progressive variety, ash casselle does do the prog thing though
  14. anyone know anything about home new york? It was supposed to open some time this year. Matt
  15. Sorry guys, you have got me on this one. How do you define chicago hard house? Is it anyhting like UK hard house or something completely different? Matt
  16. That is the day me and my friend arrive in NYC from London. Coming would be quite cool if we would be welcome, you can give us some tips on what to expect.
  17. Sunday is very gay. If you are feeling really up for it you could try trade straight after fabric, it is open something like 4am-12am and is about 5 minutes walk from fabbers and is one of the longest running, then home and fabric also both have homesexual and dtpm, your best bet is to wait and ask people when you are out what they recommend. That way you can have an idea about what each place is like
  18. my flights British airways from heathrow were about 200 pounds including all taxes, if we had flown from germany with lufthansa it would have been 180 pounds including the flights to/from germany from london
  19. the ministry has its moments, oakie is an arrogant cunt and fits right in there! he quit his residency at home about 6 months ago, home this saturday night has danny tenaglia which i guess may be a bit pointless if you are from new york but then again i would love to come over and see sasha at twilo so maybe youd still love it, home is quite small but can be really really fantastic! unfortuntely you are coming the wrong week, next week and you could have seen digweed at his own club bedrock but that is once a month so thursday i suggest you try home (especially if you are not going to go on saturday) just to go there, its a bit alternative but cheap and the soundsystem is amazing! basically id suggest trying home thursday, ministry friday and home/fabric saturday. ctually i think i would go to home on friday for lawler and satoshi tomiie but if ministry is a must for you then so be it. pm me if you want any more info! Matt
  20. if i ever hear ubik again i might have to jump off a cliff into shark infested waters
  21. this is a lot like the situation with oakie quitting his residency at home in london... he said the club didn't have the right atmosphere and was going in the wrong direction. Basically that is what happens when the weekly resident plays virtually the same set every week regulars won't go and a club needs a 'core' of regulars to have the right atmosphere. Matt The new residents are miles better anyway parks and wilson rule and danny howells as of january and of course regular appearances from DT and PvD help too!
  22. betty, its cheaper than you may think! I am flying out for sven at twilo on the 15th (even though i have never heard him play) and the cheapest flights we were offered were lufthansa via germany. Matt
  23. Oakie definitely gets 10,000 ukpd for performances here in the UK. Very overrated always late.... On the other hand I know for a fact judge jules got 75,000 ukpd for last new years eve! can you imagine! Matt
  24. "come with me" is the prophet by cj bolland on r+s records from a couple of years back... I wasn't at thankgiving but I bet he played most of if not all of... solar stone- 7 cities delerium- the silence timo mass- ubik that radio head remix thing (radio fade?)
