What does everyone feel about men wearing sandals to clubs? I have a cool pair of dress slides that I want to wear. What's the door policy at clubs like World, SF, and Exit? What the door policy at CPI and Tempts?

I say wear the thong if you have the butt. Don't worry about what others think. I wear them when I go clubbing-much cooler than have sweat soaked boxers.

I agree with blondymu, its just nice to see everyone dressed up. I think that jeans and sneakers just makes for a sloppy crowd. As far as guys taking off their shirts-thats OK. I like to see as much skin as possible on both the girls and guys-skin is natural and sexy!

I don't want to hear any of your "newbie" shit. This is just a comment on how people have lost respect for others. Went to SF on Saturday night. Was amazed at the number of people wearing jeans and sneakers. How about a little class! What happened to the dress code? I've heard the excuse that "I want to be comfortable when I dance". Whatever. Tell me that a pair of jeans doesn't get heavy with all the sweat from dancing. Stay home one weekend, save your money and buy something decent looking. Doesn't have to be designer. Its dark in there-you can't see the label. Most people make an attempt to be presentable. You should too!

One more thing. The only clubs in NYC that I've seen guys go shirtless at are SF, Exit, Twilo, and Roxy. In NJ, the only club I've seen guys shirtless is Tempts. What are the other clubs you are talking about?

Shirts off!! Clubs aren't only about music. People go for different reasons. I go for the scene and to people-watch. I like to see as much skin as possible on both girls and guys. If you've got it - flaunt it!!

Hey neojunglist, in my earlier comment I didn't support your opinion. I am for the "juice monkies" taking their shirts off. I'm not a juicer but I work out 5-6x/week and have the body to show for it. So I'll be at SF showing off with my shirt off! Hope all you other girls and guys do too.

The club scene and this messageboard would be boring without all the "juice monkeys" walking around the clubs without their shirts on.

I agree with djustinh and anthonyp-take your shirts off if you've got the body to flaunt because it won't last forever. The "exhibitionism" is part of the scene and its not for everybody. I think it adds to the sexual energy of the club. A worked-out muscular body is hot whether it be on a girl or guy. Show the skin! The other thing is the stubble. I'm there with my shirt off all the time and to be honest, I've never brushed or been brushed by anyone with stubble-just watch where you're walking! I wish everyone would stop bashing one another, especially the juiceheads. Seems to me that many of the people here are putting other things into their bodies other than steroids!

Just my opinion,sorry to say I see more girls with juiceheads with no shirts on than I see with ravers. But, to each his own....just have a good time.....tired of everyone complaining!

Hey guys, live here in NYC. Would like to see what club life is like on the other side of the Hudson. Please describe the scene at Metro i.e. time to go, what time does it close, the crowd: ravers, shirtless guidos, mall chicks. Is it worth the trip on a Friday night?
