Ohm was great Sat...packed, great crowd, good vibe on both floors...It is true that Jay only spins one hr there, but Sebastian does a great job for that crowd...sure, its not Vinyl or Twilo type stuff, but, its not a Vinyl or Twilo type crowd...Great job of playing for the audience

hey pfloyd... ok, i do have the answer to your question! JV is, as i think someone mentioned earlier on the board, booked out of country and out of state all the time, thus limiting his ability to be a weekly resident...We're not in the business of procalaiming Johnny as our Resident, when in fact, he cant be there the majority of the time...We do LOVE it when he is available, and book him up as much as possible..to tell u the truth, the once a month thing has worked out great thus far...johnny provoides a spark whenever he comes out, and it spices the party up...beyond that the music has been good at SF every week, and the added bonus of JV just adds another dimension...We have a lof of stuff planned for the future, to add further dimensions to the party, and we will keep on bringing in Johnny..thanks...try to come check it out... jz

OK, "the tunnel"..here we go: U miss the point...SF fridays wasnt designed to be a "centro fly thurs, etc.."...It was designed to be what it is...Wheras u probably would have hated it, it wasnt designed for your personal tastes...However, that is the point...People of your tastes, are AT vinyl, as u said, its already a huge success in its market, and they are gonna stay there, ...we're not vinyl, we cant be vinyl, and no offense, we dont want to be vinyl...we want to be sf fridays, nothing more..we dont claim to be anything else...See, an apropriate comment from u should be, "i personally dislike the crowd/music/direction in which Sf went"...To bash what we did tho, and to say it "sucks"...is a) incorrect, unfair, c) childish...U have your tastes/opinions/knowlege of music...The people that come to the type of party at SF Fridays have there same tastes/opinions...The crowd at SF prob wouldnt like your "soulful" music either, in fact, they may say that is "sucks"...Does that make either better? No..Does it make it different? YES...but why hate on what we do? why not just go to centro/spa/twilo etc, and have your fun, and let us have ours as well? hating on something, just makes u look silly..

OK..in response to "the tunnell" My name is Johnny Z, and I'm one of the "guidos" as u say, i guess, who got the deal at SF fridays...Now, Im sorry u "original" club kids didnt get the deal/room that u wanted, and Im sorry u have a personal dislike for the guidos/music we provide...However, as far as our party being a failure, there were 3000 people there, the majority of which was a high quality crowd that was looking to have, and HAD FUN...Thats the nature of this beast, to provide an environment for a crowd to have fun, aka, a party..The crowd we marketed to clearly came, despite the bitter cold, and they had a good time..We have in SF Fridays, a party, that is going to be successful, going to be around a while, despite your calls for a "boycott", and while we may not be up to messageboard quality of a "S&D", or an "original club kid", we do what we do, (provide a high quality, good looking, fun 18+ party for bridge and tunnel/outer boroughs/LI/jersey) and we do it well....I want to thank everyone that came out to support the event, and everyone thats coming back to support the event again this week in advance, the crowd really was great...As far as "boycotting" the event, I think that is a little childish...and, if your group was so successful, I was just wondering where exactly these "original club kid promoters" u refer to were now, where are they are produciing this party? A) OK, my name was indeed on the flyer, (a red 5"5 UV coated piece) and i did intend to become involved, BUT i was told by Peter that I was not allowed to do the party, it created a conflict of interest w Limelight...But, coincidently, the party in question was run, by Noah, which was one of the names u dropped in your name dropping session of promoters...I wish that i was able to do it, bec Vinny, Noah and friends did a fantastic job w the opening, the opening was a success, and they made money, which is the object of the business...However, why are u so well versed on what passes my name is on? I am from Brooklyn, I am of Italian (specifically Calabrese) decent, hence, i do have dark skin, not artifically tanned skin...i dont consider my self a "sterotypical guido", however, again, why are u concerned w my appearance? why do u even know who i am? why would u even care? i dont care who u are... C) I put the Tunnel party together, our door did 3900, Kurfew 1100, so factually your numbers are very wrong...Furthermore, if they came for Johnny, or they came bec they like the color of the bathrooms, it is irrelevant..They still came..We still put the promotion together...What worked specifically is in question, but, it did work...If your theory of Kurfew being the primary producer of those 5000 is correct, where did the 5000 go?
