New years eve is the only night we can get away with the 24hour thing:eek: so just get to metro earlier on thanksgiving eve, it is amazing how long the night feels when you get into metro and the music is pumpin from 5pm.......................try it out on one of AFTERWORK FRIDAY parties. and as far assaturdays go............we are going a different direction.. Guys, thank you so much for such an incredible night last night. It was definitley the most packed night of the year so far, (well, with the exception of luz divina:eek: ).And even more important than just being packed, it was the RIGHT CROWD. Crazy girls, energy. It was by far the best retrometro ever. I have said it a million times.......................and i am gonna say it again................RICHIE RYDELL PLAYING IN FRONT OF THE METRO LOUNGE/MERGE FAMILY .................THERE IS NOTHING, AND I MEAN NOTHING LIKE IT!!! Richie is THE MOST consistently good dj anywhere (yes guys, even in the "holy"nyc). When is the last time you went to hear one of your "favorite "djs play , and you walk out say "he sucked tonight", or, "what the fuck was so an so playing tonight"? I hear that all the time about EVERY other dj. Consistintsy is what makes someone, in MY , book, good. You will never hear Richie Rydell play and say he "sucked" tonight. Maybe he will be "really sick" or"the best i have heard in a long time", and at some times better than other times ,but never bad ,ALWAYS good.Thats what makes him great. Anyway. I guess i am going off about richie so much today cause of what he did to Metro last night. .........INSANE!!!!! The only word to describe last night. The memories richie brought back last night made me personally really happy. And having , what i think EVERY board member from CP there made it great also. Thank you again guys for such a great night. Ok guys, i must have got 20 pms today about New yearsso here are some more details........... Believe me when i tell you, New years eve at Metro Lounge is, by far THE BEST party of the year.Along with all our special events (thanksgiving eve,anniversarys, theme parties) the crowd is OUT OF CONTROL! But, what makes New years so special,mainly, is that........................YOU DONT HAVE TO GO HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (well eventually, but, as long as you stay up,WE stay up,till AT LEAST 11am (yes 11 o'clock in the morning) with a 24hour liquer liscense!. NO OTHER club in jersey can do this, and there is only one dj in new jersey that can keep it jumpin ALL NIGHT LONG.................RICHIE RYDELL! And it is an amazing feeling to be sitting inside metro lounge at say, 7am packed wall to wall, music pumpin...............................awsome!!! THE CROWD WILL BE HOT THE MUSIC WILL BE SICK THE VIBE WILL BE INCREDIBLE That aside here what i know so far all tickets include: top shelf 4 hour open bar lavish hot and cold buffet all 3 rooms will be open with different music in each room DJ RICHIE RYDELL TILL AT LEAST 11AM! Tickets will be going on sale soon. When i know, you will know.What i do know is, new years is not a night that you want to waste and make a mistake and go to the wrong venue.
